Emily Blunt In Yanina Couture – ‘Mary Poppins Returns’ LA Premiere

Emily Blunt In Yanina Couture - ‘Mary Poppins Returns’ LA Premiere

Emily Blunt and Emily Mortimer both wore white to the premiere of their latest film, ‘Mary Poppins Returns’ on Thursday (November 29) in Los Angeles, California, joining Karen Gillan.

As you know I have been counting down the hours for this premiere, and Emily didn’t disappoint.

I was blown away by this ethereal moment in Yanina Couture, which was simple, yet impactful, giving us modern bride and modern fairytale all at once.

Stephen Webster jewels matched the glittering occasion, with soft makeup giving her a dewy glow.

Was this everything you wished for and more?

Ashlee Simpson-Ross In Yanina Couture – 2018 Billboard Music Awards

Ashlee Simpson-Ross and husband Evan Ross were guest presenters at the 2018 Billboard Music Awards on Sunday (May 20) in Las Vegas, Nevada.

I love the way you never know what you’re going to get with Ashlee, as she seems to be able to mix ’60s, bohemian and rock influences seamlessly into her red carpet looks.

On this occasion she went full boho glam wearing a Yanina Spring 2017 Couture gown, which you’ll be pleased to know is fully lined.

With the hourglass silhouette it was up to the exaggerated sleeves to provide the drama.

Bebe Rexha In Yanina Couture – 2018 ACM Awards

Bebe Rexha brought some drama to the 2018 Academy of Country Music Awards on Sunday (April 15) in Las Vegas, Nevada. She joined Maren Morris, Kimberly Schlapman and Eve.

The singer often gravitates towards black, curve-hugging styles and her Yanina Fall 2017 Couture gown played into that.

Rather than being primarily about a sensual silhouette, the rich black base was decorated with a sweeping ruffle and sheer embellished sleeves for more impact.

The lightness of the ruffle against the sumptuous strapless gown had an arresting, whimsical effect.

It brought to mind Solange’s Giles dress from the 2015 Met Gala. Just like with that style, I’m sure there will be a debate whether the singer should have worn the ruffle as shown or flipped down.

Jewels by Dana Rebecca Designs and EFFY Jewelry added some sparkle.

2nd Annual Wearable Art Gala Red Carpet Roundup

At the 2nd Annual Wearable Art Gala on Saturday (March 17) in LA, Beyonce may have been Queen B with her undulating golden goddess gown. But, there were still plenty of fashion-minded femmes making waves there—and adopting the ‘Black Panther’ theme via their Wakanda-inspired looks.

Tina Knowles: Like mother, like daughter. Bey’s mom and Wearable Art Gala co-founder also went down a golden-bronze path—granted, a more subdued one—in this Jean-Louis Sabaji Spring 2018 Couture satin creation that was bedecked in a feathered cape for dramatic effect.

Sally Field In Yanina Couture – 2018 Costume Designers Guild Awards

Sally Field joined Kerry Washington on the red carpet for the 2018 Costume Designers Guild Awards held at The Beverly Hilton Hotel on Tuesday (February 20) in California.

Looking ever so elegant and demure, the actress wore a Yanina Fall 2014 Couture gown.

My first thought was that I wished the laser cut details had also been black, but on reflection, I love how the detail enhances the silhouette, giving Sally a narrow waist.

Leslie Bibb In Yanina Couture -2018 BAFTAs

Leslie Bibb was one of the first to arrive at the 2018 BAFTAs on Sunday (February 18) in London, England at the Royal Albert Hall.

Like at the Golden Globes, it was anticipated that many stars would wear black to the event in solidarity with the Time’s Up movement.

The actress wore a strapless Yanina Couture gown where the silky black base was enlivened with delicate ruffles embellished with pale blue beading.

The restrained volume of the frills allowed the beading to take on a graceful, crashing wave effect.

I’m captivated by how the surface work gives the column gown such magical movement.
