Alexis Bledel In J. Mendel – 2017 Creative Arts Emmy Awards

Alexis Bledel picked up the Emmy for ‘Outstanding Guest Actress In A Drama Series’ for ‘The Handmaid’s Tale’ on Sunday (September 10) at the 2017 Creative Arts Emmy Awards, and she used the platform of her acceptance speech to speak about the show’s partnership with Change.org. A move she said was designed “to encourage us all to take action…sign up, speak up and stay awake.”

This explains why she wore the blue ACLU ribbon, which a lot of celebs wore in support of the American Civil Liberties Union during this year’s Oscars.

I love the ethereal feeling of her J.Mendel Resort 2018 gown which looks like she’s floating on a blush-pink cloud.

Cut to a beautiful floor-skimming silhouette, this really has a dream-like quality to it.

Opting for a deep-rouge lip, her award-winning look was complete with the ‘Lilla Venetian’ brocade Hayward clutch and CSARITE by Nak Armstrong ‘Lotus’ dangle earrings which accessorized.
