Rihanna In Oscar de la Renta – Fenty Beauty by Rihanna Launch

Rihanna is one of those A-listers who has proved time and time again that there’s nothing she can’t do.

She’s has gone from singer, fashion designer, actress and now she created a beauty brand: Fenty Beauty by Rihanna.

To celebrate the launch of the highly anticipated makeup line, the singer held a party Duggal Greenhouse on Thursday (September 7) in New York City, ahead of its midnight launch on Sephora.com and Harvey Nichols.

For the occasion, the Elle US September cover star stood out in a custom Oscar de la Renta canary yellow jersey top cinched at the waist paired with matching full-length voluminous skirt, which revealed sultry gold custom gold René Caovilla over-the-knee gladiator sandals.

I’m not at all surprised by this look. Volume has been Rihanna’s red carpet M.O. for every major red carpet events since Cannes.

It’s a really fun, vibrant outfit, looks stunning against the black backdrop, however, a part of me wishes there was a little less fabric in the skirt.

At the Sephora Times Square launch Rihanna wore her second Oscar de la Renta look of the day, this one inspired by the Fall 2017 collection.

While the dress appears minimal, the studded boots takes this look into maximalist territory.

I do prefer the first look, but this was a cute, playful look to celebrate with her fans.
