Front Row @ Calvin Klein 205W39NYC Spring 2018

The front row at the Calvin Klein 205W39NYC Spring 2018 show on Thursday (September 7) during New York Fashion Week featured no shortage of stars dressed in their Calvins—so to speak.

Lupita Nyong’o: While Lupita often opts for bold colours and patterns, here she wore a dressed-up variation on jeans and a tee with her white top and high-waisted denim. The turquoise chandelier earrings and deep-blue handbag brought her signature bold flair to elevate the look beyond the ordinary.

Kate Bosworth: Western-chic was clearly Kate’s mood. And, while this matching work shirt and jeans featured a heavy-handed embroidery, the pastel pink and white tonal hues ensured the ensemble maintained a lighter sensibility.

Millie Bobby Brown: The dress was darling and fresh; but I believe she slightly overindulged on the bronzer.

Karlie Kloss: Workwear never looked so chic as Karlie’s dark-denim separates here. I love how she echoed the red seams in her box handbag, rounding out the Western spirit with her mahogany boots.

Trevor Noah:
The actor cut a cool profile with his metallic-sheen jacket that took his tee and trousers to the next level.

Christina Ricci: I was a huge fan of the sleek, minimal simplicity of this sheath dress, emboldened by the red pocket squares.

Mahershala Ali: Always a dapper customer, the actor impressed yet again in shades of blue. He even made the cropped pants look oh so right.

Ashton Sanders: It’s not often we see sheer menswear, but Ashton made it work here with his filmy sweater and skinny denim.

Paris Jackson: Well, she does have a denim coat wrapped around her waist. But, I cannot make heads or tails of the rest of her look that combines a white bodysuit with a boho floral skirt, Conversee sneakers, and a pumpkin-orange bag.

Brooke Shields: The Calvin Klein arm warmers make their second appearance here after Kate Bosworth wore them the day before. With this slightly sportier top and racing stripes skirt, perhaps they make slightly more sense here. What do you think?
