Cara Delevingne In Chanel Couture – 2017 Met Gala

Cara Delevingne made quite the impression at the 2017 Met Gala on Monday (May 1) in New York City.

The model-actress recently went from a platinum bob to an all-out shaved head for her role in ‘Life in a Year,’ and she took full advantage of her freshly buzzed-off locks by painting her scalp silver and embellishing it with crystal dots—to match her embellished Chanel Fall 2016 Couture ensemble, naturally.

The galactic-metallic look was a blast of disco-ball blitz and space-age glitz. But, ironically, it’s her bald, alien-chic beauty that will likely be one of the most lasting impressions of the night.

No need to go for gold, when silver looks this good.

She killed. I want to wear this to church. Seriously, I don’t even care about the theme. The look is so well done. The icy hair is the cherry on top

I dont get you hypocrites….it she looks good but it’s not in line with the theme!!! And before you say it is…The theme was NOT black and white

I LOVED this on the runway and have been waiting to see it on the red carpet. I’m glad it was Cara that wore because she did it justice. It is spectacular! And yes, I too will remember this at the end of the year.

I also loved this on the runway, and boy am I happy to see it worn so well!

Some of you say it’s not on theme, but I see avant-garde here… maybe it was too subjective a theme?

In any case, amazing. The craft of this look is just impressive, and I am so glad it was worn to an event where it would be fully appreciated.
