Kirsten Dunst In Christian Dior Couture – 2017 Oscars

Kirsten Dunst attended the 2017 Oscars on Sunday (February 26) in Hollywood, California.

Another ode to glamour in spades, the actress was lovely in a black Christian Dior Couture high-low gown that riffed on the design house’s New Look silhouette from the ’40s.

Frosted with diamond jewels including a necklace from Niwaka, the dress was likewise finished with a softer, romantic air in her relaxed updo with its curled tendrils.

Why does she keep wearing those shoes? They totally ruined her 2011 Cannes look and few other outfits in the following years. They are not that great here either.

Glamorous. Beautiful silhouette. She has never looked better.

Classic, simple and elegant. Pure Dior at it’s best. If I had a niggle, I’d have liked a little less eye make up, it feels a little heavy with the lip but other than that, gorgeous

    Simple yet great.

Good and effective. Although its just a black dress, the silhouette is fabulous and the necklace is beautiful. Glam done right!

Are you sure this is couture ? My friend ordered the same dress in r-t-w. It’s from their heritage pieces that they do each season

Yep, Dior said it was Haute Couture.

    • Catherine Kallon February 27, 2017 at 11:01 #

I was thinking perhaps it was custom to her so they called it Couture

Hello! any ideas who designed the necklace?

This is an amazing look for her! It’s black, but it’s not boring. The makeup is flawless!

Best Dressed worthy. Why does being ‘best dressed’ = being weirdly dressed. This is something Carolyn Bessette would wear. Timeless.

Gorgeous! Simple and so much class to this look.
    Excellent amazing styling.
Just absolutely love that necklace, and suits the dress perfectly.
Its been awhile, in my mind, that shes (fashion-wise) looked so good.

LOVE THIS – the fit is impeccable and I also really love her jewelry choice – not too heavy so it looks modern still and not too overtly retro – her hair also is perfect. Definitely one of my favourites of the night.

Good, a bit boring, I like the necklace here.

Even though it’s black, this is honestly one of my favorites. It’s so gloriously vintage, and the necklace is pure perfection. Love the shoe rewear as well, they’re lovely.

The silhouette is MAJOR. So flattering, so good. One of the best of the event to me.

This dress gave her such an amazing silhouette, she looked beautiful in it. Also I love the necklace. Lots of beautiful necklaces tonight.
