Get The Look: Kate Bosworth’s ‘The Art Of More’ Grecian-Inspired Braid

Celebrity hairstylist Bridget Brager worked with Kate Bosworth for SAG Foundation’s Conversation on ‘The Art of More’ in Los Angeles last week.

“For Kate’s look, we wanted to do a ‘cool girl’ braid. Something a bit different, but not too flashy,” said Bridget.

Here’s how to get the look.

Bridget started by giving Kate a wavy, ‘bed head’ look. She added a little Sachajuan Ocean Mist, gave it a rough blow-dry, and curl-wanded with a T3 Whirl Trio. That’s all you need for lived-in waves.

She started by creating a deep side part, then Dutch-braided the hair down the side of her head, following her hairline. The idea was to have the braid continuing its way down, just behind the ear and then wrapping around the nape. She secured the braid with a bobby pin.

To finish the look, she used Kevin Murphy Powder Puff to create some volume and texture in the braid as she pulled it apart for a more lived-in feel.
