Mia Wasikowska In Alexander McQueen – ‘Crimson Peak’ New York Premiere

Mia Wasikowska In Alexander McQueen - 'Crimson Peak' New York Premiere

Mia Wasikowska attended the ‘Crimson Peak’ New York premiere held at AMC Loews Lincoln Square on Wednesday (October 14) in New York City.

The actress wore yet another look from the Alexander McQueen Resort 2016 collection, this time selecting a bi-colour knit gown which sat just off-the-shoulder.

As always she presents herself really well – one can’t say she didn’t make an effort – but the issue (as per) is that the look doesn’t make any kind of impact.

I’m not asking that she don an Elie Saab or Zuhair Murad sparkling gown, but it would be nice to see her do something that will leaves a lasting impression.

The beauty is in the simplicity. It’s an understated look but she looks extremely elegant and fresh. Nothing is missing here for me.

I like this. It’s simple yet interesting.

    This is divine.

I love this dress but something is missing.

Well, it is one of her better (best?) looks.

I love the dress, but as noted above, she is lifeless in it. Maybe she is afraid or bored, but she never seems alive on the red carpet and so she brings down everything she wears. It would have been better with the belt, but still not memorable, I bet.

I appreciate the (slightly) better makeup. The dress is pretty boring.

Somebody remove her along with Kate Mara from the red carpet game.

What if she doesn’t want to leave an impression? She looks good and she’s probably feeling good, that’s what matters

    This is just OK.

I can see this on Alicia Vikander.

The dress is nice. It’s her best look of this year so far, but unfortunately, that doesn’t say much. It still is a bit bland, but thanks to the good make-up, it’s a baby step into the right direction.

I love this dress, specially on the look book with the belt and shorter.Much better than on Mia.

This is her best outing yet.

Agreed. And that’s not saying much. Makeup looks nice for change

This dress is pretty but by no means exciting, and I honestly think Mia actually makes it even less so. Nothing she wears ever ‘pops’.

I can’t believe this is McQueen, I find the dress and the whole look really dull !

The gown is nice, but she breathes no life into it. At least this time she used some lipstick and prevents the look for being boring and for looking washed out.
