Juno Temple In Saint Laurent – ‘Far From The Madding Crowd’ New York Screening

Juno Temple In Saint Laurent - ‘Far From The Madding Crowd’ New York Screening

Juno Temple joined Carey Mulligan on the red carpet for the ‘Far From The Madding Crowd’ New York special screening at The Paris Theatre, on Monday (April 27) in New York City.

When we think of Saint Laurent dresses, LBDs or dresses with an edge spring to mind, not floral frocks – yet this botanical print blousy silk-georgette dress hails from the French brand’s Spring 2015 collection.

I love this look for its retro ’70s vibe of a style and the playful short, swingy skirt.

Tights and clunky platforms are usually on my list of no-nos, but Juno’s styling, which mimics the runway, somehow – by some miracle – wins me over.

I sorta like this. It just fits with her style, I think. the messy details are actually her touch.

Between the hair and styling, this look is not working for me.

This is so her – I love that she has a strong sense of personal style. I don’t like those shoes but they’re right for her.

I love this look but it feels like this is a fall to winter look, especially with the tights.

The shoes are alright with this look but I think she should’ve ditched the tights.

Black pantyhose and clunky peep-toe platforms? No, no, a thousand times no. Some aspects of the 70’s should remain buried there.

I agree. Sans shoes I really love this whole look though.

I’m okay with the shoes as well, they go well with the 70s vibe as you are saying. That said, it’s not totally wrong for the season but could easily have been worn in fall going on winter.
