Princess Caroline of Hanover & Charlotte Casiraghi In Chanel Couture – Le Bal de la Rose 2015

Princess Caroline of Hanover & Charlotte Casiraghi In Chanel Couture - Le Bal de la Rose 2015

Charlotte Casiraghi and Princess Caroline of Hanover attended the La Bal de la Rose 2015 in aid of the Princess Grace Foundation, where they kept good company with designer Karl Lagerfeld at Sporting Monte-Carlo on Saturday (March 28) in Monte-Carlo, Monaco.

Charlotte Casiraghi: Donning a pink sequin dress, embroidered with a black sequined trim, from the Chanel Haute Couture Spring 2015 collection, she was youthful elegance personified. While the styling wasn’t so inspiring with a black satin clutch and black pumps, this wasn’t the place for the runway’s mesh gloves and boots.

Princess Caroline of Hanover: As president of the Princess Grace Foundation, H.R.H. the Princess of Hanover was regally attired in a long ivory silk satin Chanel Haute Couture dress with strass embroideries, accessorized with a long cream scarf and sparkling jewels.

I think mother and daughter should have swapped gowns…Charlotte’s gown hung like a sack making her look matronly while Caroline’s gown would be stunning on a younger woman with toned arms and bust.

    Both look totally stunning
Charlotte will likely be my best dressed this week

Goes to show money can’t buy elegance.

I don’t understand why they are at the same event with such differing looks. In any event, I don’t think either one looks good.

Beatrice Borromeo was also there and she looked totally gorgeous! I wonder what she’s wearing?

Not fond of either looks. Charlotte almost never looks good in Chanel.

      My sentiments exactly.

I don’t really care for either of these looks. Especially Caroline’s top looks bad.

Must say I am not even considering Caroline’s look. I’m in two minds about Charlotte’s though. At first I dimissed it as aging and matronly, but have to say the modern twist on the classic design has grown on me. Charlotte is beautiful and it doesn’t all the silly styling that they resorted to on the runway to make it young, uh.
