Carina Lau attended the 2015 amfAR Hong Kong Gala held at Shaw Studios on Saturday (March 14) in Hong Kong.
The Asian actress wore a Schiaparelli Spring 2015 Couture long trompe l’oeil coral gown with crystal hearts to form a necklace, plus the look was embroidered with printed hands at the back which caught the eye of Mrs Beckham.
This floor-grazing design is a true reflection of the brand’s elegant modernity. Cut with a high neckline and a streamlined silhouette, this gown serves to elongate and flatter in one effortless step. Even those who usually can’t get on board with satin dresses, may find themselves considering this for BDOTW.
Roger Vivier clutch and complementary jewels rounded out the look.

BDOTW contender.
BDOTW…love that back! those hands…..so cheeky.
I suppose she didnt need the earrings but im not bothered by them either. worthy to me!
Like most people have said here…also not a big fan of the earrings. Still she looks great and I still can’t believe she’s 49.
Love everything about this except the earrings.
She looks amazing. I like satin when done right, and that color is so gorgeous. BDOTW.
The fabric is all I like.
Love h2t (!) somehow even the fabric is working on this occasion. BDOTW worthy for me.
and I actually love how the earrings complement the embellished neckline, but the clutch could’ve been more delicate.
I love this look. This is right up there with her Ralph & Russo look at the Berlin Film Festival Closing Ceremony last year.
The earrings are distracting me, but otherwise I agree it’s a bdotw contender.
She looks so elegant and gorgeous. The fabric is pretty hard to pull off.
A BDOTW contender for sure !
She looks gorgeous
The earrings are too much but I like the rest.
Like Cate Blanchett in McQueen at the AACTAs, a huge amount of credit must go to whoever kept that satin crease-free!
Flawless. A difficult dress to pull off but she does with aplomb. Just divine!
I don’t like the fabric, as usual with satin.
The earrings were too much, considering the neckline of the dress.
