2015 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue Celebration

2015 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue Celebration

Models were out in full force for the 2015 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue celebration held at Marquee on Tuesday (February 10) in New York City.

Lily Aldridge: The model, who I usually consider one of the best dressed of her peers, failed to impress in her Marc Jacobs Spring 2015 tri-colour hipsack mini dress, so I am thankful for her choice of Tabitha Simmons shoes to distract my attention. There isn’t one thing I like about this dress. If Lily can’t pull it off, no one can.

Gigi Hadid: The blonde beauty wore a that’s-more-like-it David Koma Spring 2015 look. She totally nailed her look for its sporty, sexy, fun, vibrant and colourful appeal, evoking everything about a Sports Illustrated swimsuit model.

Chanel Iman: One has to wonder if the model wandered into the wrong event. As beautiful as her Temperley London Spring 2015 emerald gown is, it feels so wrong and out of place at this event.

Chrissy Teigen: Just when her style was becoming way too predictable, the model switched gears, opting for a sexy Herve Leger crop top and sparkling trousers to reignite her style credentials.

Irina Shayk: While I haven’t always been a huge fan of Irina’s red carpet choices, they were always bold in colour and sexy in design. This, this is well below par by her standards. I almost feel like she shouldn’t have bothered turning up.

Emily Ratajkowski: The model/actress brought some heat to proceedings wearing a flame-red Haute Hippie jumpsuit, which of course gave an eye-popping reveal of her cleavage.

Channel seems the best dressed here

I do not like one of these looks. Chanel is the closest to being the best, but its just too over the top and I don’t really like that colour

Lily does look on point, the dress is not typically sexy but the pocket is adorable.
Lily can rock most of her looks, her styling is always on point to coordinate the overall effect.

On second thoughts, from waist down of Gigi’s and Chrissy’s looks are pretty nice.

I don’t expect good fashion from a sport’s illustrated event and they didn’t disappoint.

SO many mix and match looks. They all look like they’re going to different events lol

I actually like Lily’s dress. It’s unusual but she looks cute.
    Emily looks lovely.
Chanel always has this tendency to “overdress”. It’s like every event is an occasion for a gown

I get this is am event for celebrating ‘sexy’ but there’s a whole lot of tacky going on here. Emily looks good and I don’t mind Gigi’s look even though it’s been done a million times. Chrissy looks a hot mess.

Wow… after the great events from this weekend, this one puts my feet on the ground again.

    Really, really bad.

Agreed. Such a bad red carpet.
