Rosie Huntington-Whiteley In Rosie for Autograph - Rosie For Autograph Eau De Parfum Launch

Rosie Huntington-Whiteley launched her eponymous first fragrance with M&S Beauty and celebrated with a party held at Café Royal on Wednesday (January 28) in London, England.

The model used this event to showcase her Rosie for Autograph sleepwear collection for M&S, selecting a beautiful silk nightdress with floral lace trims styled with silver sandals and a complementary choker.

As sleepwear goes, this was quite an amazing look for the event, where the theme of the night was beauty and elegance.

We’ve seen lingerie-inspired pieces on the red carpet before, so this is nothing new; making it look effortless and romantic was the challenge and Rosie passed with flying colours.

I would even put this up for BDOTW, the look was that good.

Sorry to say but I disagree with this being BDOTW.
its a big NO for me.

Yes, she looks good, but then again she’s a supermodel. At the end of the day this is still lingerie lol

Was Rosie always this thin? Between her arms and her ankles…she looks ill.

  4. Nadia January 29, 2015 at 4:18 pm #

    She looks good… for bedtime.

Sorry, but I completely disagree with you FC. This is not outerwear, though it is part of her sleepwear line, there is a reason it is called sleep wear.

Unless it’s a sleepwear-themed party I don’t see a reason for anyone to use a perfume launch/other event to showcase your sleepwear line. This is absurd, thumbs down.

+1. For a sleepwear themed party, this would have looked good. But for a launch.. this is so weird.

Completely disagree with you FC. There is nothing about this look I like. Sorry!

I think people missed the part of the write up and product link that clearly state it IS a nightgown/part of her new lingerie collection. I can see why some would object but, given the context of the event, I think she pulls it off. It doesn’t hurt that her beauty look is typically flawless.

    • Dero January 29, 2015 at 2:54 pm #

No one missed anything. She wore a nightgown to an event, and that’s exactly what it looks like. I find it inappropriate and ridiculous.

I don’t believe this is a dress. I would only wear this to bed. Don’t like this look

Even if I am not a fan of her dress, because yes, it is simply a nightgown which never could be elegant and interesting, I like her attitude while wearing it, the perfect one because that is exactly what prevents this look of being cheap or tacky. Sensual and innocent in equal proportions.

I really like it, she looks so fierce!!

Very pretty. I just don’t care for it outside the privacy of one’s home… Er bedroom.

Nothing about this look screams BDOTW worthy to me.

    A nightgown is a nightgown.

I’ve always hated slip dresses (ugh 90s) because they remind me of lingerie. So congratulations to RHW on simultaneously taking this dumb trend to its logical conclusion by just wearing lingerie and passing it off as a slip dress, while also proving why I think it should disappear already.

Although I should add: great way to bring PR to the lingerie line (no shade, I genuinely think so).

Sorry, IMO this isn’t “lingerie-inspired”, it’s just lingerie.
    So – it’s a NO from me.
I like her new hair though.

Agreed this looks like a night gown. I also hate the makeup or lack there of.

    • julyol1972 January 29, 2015 at 8:29 pm #

Totally agree! If anyone else wore this, they’d be ripped a new one. Rosie doesn’t get a pass!

Keep it in the boudoir, thanks!
