Anne Hathaway In Vintage Chanel – ‘Rio 2’ LA Screening

Anne Hathaway In Vintage Chanel - 'Rio 2' LA Screening

Anne Hathaway attended Lollipop Theater Network’s A Night Under The Stars at Nickelodeon Animation Studio on Saturday (April 26) in Burbank, California in support of her movie ‘Rio 2’.

She wore a vintage Chanel black blouse featuring a ‘No Smoking’ print (in several languages) bodice paired with a simple black maxi skirt.

Working a monochrome theme, she styled the look with a Chanel black and white chain-strap bag and white sandals, with a silver choker accessorizing her look.

Her favoured part-braided hairdo and shimmering lip provided the finishing touches to her chic, yet casual look.

The Blouse is gorgeous! I would’ve paired it with white flared trousers and a Chanel quilted bag and added some funky jewellery to go with it!!!

Dreadful. The blouse might work with a great pair of pants or a suit, but this is just frumpy. Her hair is awful–I don’t really know why she wants to look like this.

I don’t like any of this, individually or together.

This makes her look OLD. A surprising choice for a youth hunting Hollywood culture.

There is a certain quality to the look that I can’t quite define but it is aging her a lot. I wish she went for more colour. It is an animated film after all. The occasion must always count too when it comes to styling a look. This could have been effortless and it is not even that. I’m sorry because I do really like her a lot.

Why in the world does she keep wearing her hair like this? Minus the hair, I sort of like the look, except it seems lately she’s trying really hard to project a certain look that’s care free, but she’s trying too hard to project it. Style has to be authentic and genuine and this is neither.

    I love the blouse… and that’s it!

    Come back, Rachel Zoe!

This looks like something Bea Arthur would have worn on ‘The Golden Girls’. As much as I love Dorothy Zbornak, that is not a compliment.

I was thinking along the same lines. This looks awfully matronly. Her style lately has been on a decline.

She’s at an LA screening of a very fun movie. I expect more colour.
