Fan Bingbing In Stéphane Rolland Couture – 1st China International Film Festival

Fan Bingbing In Stéphane Rolland - 1st China International Film Festival

Fan Bingbing attended the 1st China International Film Festival held at Central Hall of Westminster in London on Friday.

The Chinese actress wore a Stéphane Rolland Fall 2013 Couture shimmering metallic-blue gown featuring white cuffs and bodice as well as the impeccable couture sculptural detailing we expect from a Stephane Rolland piece.

I’m sure many of you will agree that Bingbing’s dramatic, power-dressing gown sees her back to her best.

I know many of you had grown tired of seeing her wearing embellished gown after embellished gown, so this new take on glamour will no doubt be regarded as refreshing.

Perhaps wearing her hair up would’ve perfected this look; but considering her glossy locks are not interfering with the bodice, I can find no fault with this look.

Just when I thought my BDOTY list was done…sigh…but anyway, this is really epic! Love how demure and yet dramatic it is.

      “Demure, yet dramatic”=Great description.

I prefer this on the runway- that styling makes this a little rock n roll. FBB’s styling is just too traditional and precious for my taste, and it makes this gown come off too stuffy.

I don’t know… these white things seem like they’re about to come alive and start chocking her…
I like the blue color though.

I can see the appeal of this on the runway, but don’t like it on Bingbing.

Oh wow this is absolutely breathtaking. Only she could wear this, i love that her hair is down, she looks like a beautiful porcelain doll in the best possible way. BDOTW. one of the best looks i’ve seen all year really.

    i love fan .

The dress swallows her. Dont think she was the right person to wear this, although its a stunning piece.

I agree. I don’t think it works on her either.

Normally the hair up would’ve looked better, but Fan’s hairstyle is OK. The watch though, looks so out of place. The gown is stunning.

      100% agree

This is actually a really beautiful, innovative gown but I don’t think Bingbing does it justice. The hair is really bothering, and her big statement earrings don’t really make sense considering how commanding the dress is on its own.

BDOTW!!! Fan should wear more Stephane Rolland

  13. Christine December 8, 2013 at 20:59 #

      +3! Different and perfect!

why would she wear a watch with such a beautiful gown? I’m gonna just pretend that it’s not there, because apart from that (I can live with the hair) it’s a stunning look.

    • Serenity December 10, 2013 at 02:00 #

Exactly my thoughts! Oh well, no matter–I’ll not let a tiny detail such as that spoil this magnificence! This is the most exciting and original look I’ve enjoyed in a while. That doesn’t necessarily mean it’s the best look, just the most intriguing, beguiling, mysterious, and fun!!!
