Jenny McCarthy In Gucci – ‘A Night With Janis Joplin’ Broadway Opening Night

Jenny McCarthy In Gucci - 'A Night With Janis Joplin' Broadway Opening Night

Jenny McCarthy attended the Broadway opening night of ‘A Night With Janis Joplin’ held at the Lyceum Theatre in New York City on Thursday.

‘The View’ host wore a Gucci Pre-Fall 2013 look featuring an olive cardigan, black lace accented camisole and teal-blue skirt.

The model is giving me sexy starlet on the set of ‘Mad Men’, while Jenny looks like she tried to work a sexy librarian look but failed miserably; making this expensive outfit look like she ransacked a bag from outside a donation store.

It’s the accessories which are doing more damage than the outfit. Between the suede opera gloves, the shoes and the bag, I have to wonder what the hell she was thinking.

The outfit is hideous. Just because it’s Gucci doesn’t mean it’s pretty. My dish towels would look stunning draped on a top model.

This makes me want to cry.

    Wow! Awful.

Why did her stylist turn the top into a cardigan? And the gloves look like socks.

I kinda’ like the glasses on her. But that’s IT. EPIC fail.

Jenny’s outfit is atrocious, but her taste in shows is not. ‘A Night With Janis Joplin’ is incredible. Incredible enough for me to tout it’s brilliance on a fashion website. So there’s that–I encourage everyone to look it up!

She’s making Gucci look like cheap brand with this outfit

Oh for SHAME Jenny. Not liking this on her at all.

If you lose those gloves and bag, I actually like it, even the shoes work for me.

Either the lookbook photo is color-enhanced, or Jenny was caught in the worst lighting ever. The colors on her outfit are so drab compared to the lookbook. It’s like the outfit was put in the wash a million times. Sad.

Seriously unfortunate. I do have to say that her hair and makeup are pretty, but this look fails miserably.

LOL. I have a seriously snarky explanation for this given that it’s Jenny McCarthy but I’ll limit myself to noting that the shoes match the carpet.

      Ha! I feel ‘ya! 😉

I can see where she was going with it (model had leopard print gloves and black shoes, Jenny has black gloves and leopard print shoes)but unfortunately the fit of the jumper and that oversized clutch is spoiling it.

+ the gloves are too oversized as well for me. It’s a pitty cause she looks so happy with her outfit 🙁
p.s the original shoes seem very nice!!!

Its like she spent all her funds on the outfit and went to Primark for the accessories.

  15. The Dame Intl October 15, 2013 at 3:28 pm #

Her skirt and gloves are too big.

  16. Stel October 15, 2013 at 3:19 pm #

Too classy for her! She ruins the outfit!

  17. Alina October 15, 2013 at 2:55 pm #

Are you sure it’s the same Gucci outfit? Because I simply can’t believe it.

  18. Anne October 15, 2013 at 2:17 pm #

WAY Overcooked. She managed to make the chic lookbook ensemble look like a bad discount store knock-off

From classy (on the model) to cheap.

    Not a good look.

  20. dee October 15, 2013 at 2:13 pm #

Too much going on. I would have ditched the gloves and belt.

  21. Charlotte October 15, 2013 at 2:05 pm #

In the lookbook it’s sexy and chic (even with the gloves) on her it’s so tacky !
The bag and the gloves are not working

ITA. Animal pring gloves! I really shouldn’t like it, but it looks so gorgeous on the model!
