Beauty Trend Spotting: Light Pink Lips at The EIF Women’s Cancer Research Fund Benefit

Light Pink Lips Trend

Much like red lips, light pink lips will never go out of style. And this spring, the so-sweet colour is a great complement to the fresh-faced trend we’re all trying to achieve.

But lest you think there’s no way you could pull off the hue, there are a wide variety of shades that fall into the ‘light pink’ category, and several of them were on display on the EIF Women’s Cancer Research Fund Benefit.

Actress Amber Valetta went for a subtle stain that almost makes you wonder if her lips could be that colour naturally. Of course they aren’t, and you can recreate her soft wash of colour with COVERGIRL LipPerfection Jumbo Gloss Balm in Blush Twist.

Julianne Hough opted for a pink so pale that it’s almost nude, and you can get a similar pinky-nude shade with just the slightest shine with Clinique’s Different Lipstick in Sugared Grapefruit.

Singer Kylie Minogue went for the sweetest pink of the three, and amped up the trend with a bolder wash of colour than the other two. Estee Lauder’s Pure Color lipstick in Power Pink is a very close match to this shade, and the name is quite accurate–pink is a power colour, too!
