Camilla Belle In Carolina Herrera – 2013 Art of Elysium ‘Heaven’ Gala

Camilla Belle In Carolina Herrera - 2013 Art of Elysium Heaven Gala

Camilla Belle looked breath-taking when she took to the red carpet at the 2nd Street Tunnel in California last night for the 2013 Art of Elysium ‘Heaven’ Gala.

Dressed in a dot print organza gown from Carolina Herrera’s Pre-Fall 2013 collection, the actress was most definitely the belle of the ball.

Her off-the-shoulder bustier-style gown with an asymmetrical tiered skirt was styled with Van Cleef & Arpels jewels and a navy Jimmy Choo ‘Tube’ clutch.

A simple updo and flawless makeup completed this stunning look.

You may remember that she also wowed at this event last year wearing the same designer. The Bella/Herrera combination is proving to be more fruitful than Munn/Herrera.

I love it! Btw. Dianna Agron is a very successful Herrera girl too 😉

I am so in love with this woman, she has AMAZING style!! This is flawless.

The stunning gown looks a bit more amazing in the lookbook with model making it flowing and the colours appearing brighter but Camilla does look splendid and her up do great.

WOWZA. No matter what happens at the Globes this beautiful and truly unique gown (worn with great presence and poise) deserves a BDOTW spots. The best polka dots ever!! Love it on the model too, with the movement in the skirt.

It is a beautiful dress, though I agree that it looks more colourful on the model.
I am not convinced Camilla brings life into it though.

LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE IT! She’s the one to beat tonight. This is definitely a BDOTW contender, BDOTY even!

  7. Nat39 January 13, 2013 at 20:54 #

    I’m completely in LOVE!!!

I was wondering if anyone would risk wearing this printed gown at the Golden Globes, or the Oscars. I guess now the answer is “no”. I, too, am disappointed by how dark the circles are on Belle’s dress compared to the photo. However, it looks quite nice on Belle.

Worthy of a BDOTW nod. Hope it doesn’t get lost in the sea of Golden Globe gowns.

Ready for a late night, FC?

Wow! My first BDOTY contender! Stunning!

  11. Kate January 13, 2013 at 15:47 #

Even with the Globes tonight it is safe to say this is BDOTW worthy! Stunning. I can see this being in my top 20 of 2013 already!

So rare you see a gown that is printed and formal at the same time. Belle has nailed it!

I think it would look better on someone with a paler skin such as Fan Bing Bing or Cate Blanchett.

  13. justiner January 13, 2013 at 15:35 #

I lovvve it! But it looks a bit better on the model.

I have a feeling this is going to be on my list of one of my best dressed of the Year, even come December. Breathtaking, stunning, beautiful perfection.

I know the Globes are coming up… But this deserves a spot in BDOTW regardless. Flawless, and I love it!

I’m a bit dissapointed with the dress. When it was presented few weeks ago, I immediately loved it because of the colors. Now I can see it seems a Photoshop effect, the gown is actually darker, the colors have a tone down. Anyway it is a beautiful dress, and Camille looks fantastic on it.

    • J January 13, 2013 at 15:37 #

Yes, very true. I don’t like the off-the-shoulder aspect of it either. And I prefer the hair on the model.

    • Taksi January 13, 2013 at 16:14 #

Yeah, the colors make the dress a bit of a downer which seems to contradict with the whimsical tone it’s trying to create. Also, the styling is rather blah and the hairstyle makes Camilla seem older.

    • Moxie January 13, 2013 at 17:08 #

That could be a lighting issue.

  17. JJ January 13, 2013 at 14:35 #

I’m normally not a fan of a print on a formal gown, but Herrera nailed it here. This is stunning. Def BDOW worthy.

  18. Amy January 13, 2013 at 14:27 #

    OK she looks phenomenal

  19. Christine January 13, 2013 at 14:27 #

Gorgeous! BDOTW worthy. And to think she does not have a stylist. She’s not in any upcoming movies either but this girl!! She can dominate a RC!

  20. noo January 13, 2013 at 13:41 #

She was easily my best dressed!

  21. Neli January 13, 2013 at 13:38 #

Looks gorgeous but please, do some movie!

    • bm January 13, 2013 at 14:31 #

I was worry that someone would make this dress look cheap. But, I thank God that Camilla selected it first and She really done it with justice. Drop Dead Gorgeous. Love It.

      • Neli January 13, 2013 at 16:45 #

i’m talking about act, films. It’s could be a reason to atend all these parties… not just to show her amazing style (or stylist)

  22. Ellie January 13, 2013 at 13:20 #

Oh my. It has to be one of the most beautiful dresses I’ve ever seen. The rainbow colors are so gorgeous.

  23. Yeliz January 13, 2013 at 13:20 #

    Wow. She looks drop-dead gorgeous.

      I agree.

  24. CreoleLady January 13, 2013 at 13:20 #

Just lovely — and unexpected. I don’t associated a print like this with Herrera. BDOTW-worthy.
