Britney Spears In Lublu – ‘The X Factor’ Season 2 Top 16 To 12 Live Elimination Show

I absolutely fell off my chair when I saw this picture of Britney Spears on ‘The X Factor’ Season 2 Top 16 To 12 Live Elimination Show in Hollywood, California, last night.

She looks good. No, she looks great and I am both shocked and happy, as this has been a LONG time coming.

The ‘X Factor’ judge wore a Lublu Fall 2012 black dress with a scalloped hemline and a contrasting pointy nude collar.

What makes the look better than how it was presented on the lookbook model was the styling, especially the Mango belt.

The rest of her accessories included black Prada shoes, Marni flower earrings, a BCBG necklace and a Kelly Wearstler ring.

I hope whoever dressed her burned all her Herve Leger dresses.

Loved this look!!! Hi FC, I’m just curious, did you see her at the Whitney Houston tribute? If you did, what did you think?

didn’t see it. Not really a fan of Britney’s so I don’t look out for her. Only in the X Factor

She looks good, better than normal but she is almost 31 so she needs to dress a little bit more classier, and I just wish she would do something with her hair, those extensions she has just always look so fake. Sorry Brit, still love ya!

    FINALLY. Thank you God.

I love this finally she gets it right and i actually like the bangs

    hi FC
i got an insider scoop that Britney doesn’t utilize her stylists the way other celebs normally do. She doesn’t want to have personal contact with them. Instead, she have them leave the dresses for her and she’ll pick out the final outfit herself. And hence the horrid styling !

Not surprised by this at all. Thanks

But Why do they send her Herve legers all the time???
They can skip that mark from the repertoire and She can’t choose them. It’s easy 😀

Not sure about the belt or shoes but the look is great. She looks happy and comfortable.

Your burned bandage dress comment made me laugh out loud. Alas,I think that would be asking too much. Baby steps. First we need to find her some good hair!

Oh, I don’t know. This dress looks like it’s meant for a teenager. It’s also causing me to make unfortunate comparisons to her “Hit Me Baby” days.

she looks good. She’s been upping her game since X factor. I’m glad because she needed it

To be honest I far prefer the other dress in the lookbook photo to the one she is wearing

I rather like it, but I wish the belt was higher – her proportions seem kida off with it on her hips.

    Still, a very nice improvement.

Style wise, she looks great. It’s just the tan/hair that irritates me.
She looks good with bangs & a bob, just take out of those darn extensions.

It’s always back and forth – on Leno the other night, her makeup/tan/hair was good (minus the extensions) but the dress was a typical mini for Britney.

Although it wasn’t featured on here, at the City of Hope she looked good with the extensions cause they were styled nicely. But straightening your hair does not qualify for styling when the colour and cut are not the same as your real hair.

Too tan, too shiny, the bangs are horrible, and the shoes make her look stumpy.

    But this is an improvement.

OMG she looks so pretty, love it!!!

I love the hair, make up, dress and the styling! Everything looks beautiful.

    I’m surprised and so happy!

  18. Yeliz November 2, 2012 at 2:03 pm #

I’m surprised at how much I like this look. And I hope too that all her HL dresses don’t exist anymore.

never thought these words would ever come from my lips, but she looks fantastic. just wish her smile wasnt so forced and painful looking.

  20. rita November 2, 2012 at 1:59 pm #

It’s better than her herve leger dresses but I still don’t like it. It’s too short and doesn’t flatter her toned figure. Besides, it looks like a dress that belongs to a teenager 🙁 Hair and make up are great though.

    • dee November 2, 2012 at 3:12 pm #

I agree. I don’t think the dress is that flattering on her.

      • Nat39 November 2, 2012 at 5:45 pm #

The dress is way too short and juvenile for her, agree.

    • EmmaWoodhouse November 3, 2012 at 2:38 pm #

      Totally agree. Too short.

  21. lila November 2, 2012 at 1:58 pm #

Georgeous dress and nice shoes. Awful bangs, ugly damaged hair, unecessary earrings and exaggerated fake tan completed her look.

  22. admmgz November 2, 2012 at 1:57 pm #

Wow. I’m shocked- she looks so great! Good for her!

Someone finally got a (looooong overdue and much needed) decent stylist!!! I wish she had worn the other dress though.

  24. Christine November 2, 2012 at 1:49 pm #

Finally a stylist who can dress her properly.

She looks happy and I like this look. Her styling is on point 🙂
