Blast From The Past Award
I love it when one of my favourites from past seasons make a reappearance on the red carpet.

At the 2010 Emmy Awards last night, Jenna Fischer gave us a blast from the past.

Her red Versace Fall 2007 strapless gown was originally presented as a halter on the runway.

The colour looks amazing on her, I love how simple yet elegant this gown is.

She accessorized really well adding ‘Diamond in the Rough’ jewels and a gold Raven Kauffman Couture ‘Garbo’ clutch to complete her look.

We first saw this dress worn by Claudia Schiffer back in July 2007.

Kate Beckinsale looked beautiful as she walked the red carpet at Grauman’s Chinese Theatre for the LA Premiere of “Going The Distance” last night.

The British actress wore a white leather Versace Resort 2011 mini shift dress.

I really like the black dotted pocket-flap details.

When you think of Versace you think for daring and sexy, but Kate knows how to take a downtown look and give it an uptown finish.

You know what coming next.

Why those shoes?

I know many of you have told me she has issues with her toes/feet, but why does her selection always have to look so heavy?

A cute ponytail, Baccarat jewels and an Armani clutch completed her look.

I’m not officially back from vacation until Sunday, but I’ve really missed blogging – more than I expected – so I’m recharged and ready to get back to it.

Some of you didn’t quite see the big deal in Angelina Jolie’s red Atelier Versace gown at the Moscow Premiere, but considering the rest of her looks have been quite underwhelming since last Sunday have you changed your mind?

For the “Salt” Premiere in Japan her Atelier Versace Fall 2000 black chiffon high neck gown with a thigh-high slit and open back was incredibly sexy.

I loved the bun with the high neckline.

I’ve noticed that when it comes to her black looks Angelina loves to add emerald earrings for a pop of colour.

My major problem with this look was the back, and I’m surprised no one picked up on it.

From the back you can not only see the white label, but you can also see her nude thong.

This would’ve been my favourite look had it not been for that exposure and if she’s worn the purple version.

Gucci heels completed her look.

Angelina wore a black L’Agence long tank dress in to the Seoul press conference of her new movie this week.

The shapeless dress fails to excite despite her adding nude heels.

For the premiere that same day Angelina opted for yet another black frock, this time she wore a strapless Colleen Atwood super fitted dress teamed with Gucci heels.

For the “Salt” Japan press conference Angelina wore a Salvatore Ferragamo black silk blouse with shawl collar and black silk pants.

She broke up the all black look with Ferragamo cream leather peep-toe heels.

She also wore Salvatore Ferragamo nude leather pumps with metal heel for the “Salt” photo call in Moscow. Her ivory blouse and black pencil skirt were both by Dolce & Gabbana.

Loving the red lips here.

The “Salt” London premiere takes place on August 17, I’m hoping she wows on that occasion.

Which look do you favour?

Nice Dress Shame About The Shoes Award
January Jones was one of the presenters at the 2010 ESPY Awards so she didn’t walk the red carpet.

This seemed strange because her co-presenter Zac Efron did.

My worst combination is a white dress with black pumps on the red carpet and in life. It’s a total no no in my book.

At this point I’m really tired about moaning about celebs wearing black pumps on the red carpet, but they just keep wearing them no matter what type of dress they are wearing.

Yes they do work on many occasions, but not here.

January wore a Versace Fall 2010 white dress, which I preferred to Ashley Greene’s.

Her halter dress also had an asymmetrical hemline and a diagonal split but January was able to pull off the look.

It’s more summery and it’s brightens up her complexion.

Most Disappointed Award
I was so excited when I discovered that Ashley Greene would be at the 2010 ESPY Awards, but that excitement turned to disappointment when I saw her on the red carpet.

Despite the fact that she’s wearing one of my favourite labels she looks so very bland. Jennifer Aniston bland.

I love her Versace Fall 2010 red high-neck sleeveless dress, especially the asymmetric hemline and a diagonal slit but she fails to gives us that Versace woman attitude in this dress.

Whether it’s Kirsten Stewart’s “I don’t give a damn” attitude or Jennifer Lopez’ “I’m the sexiest b!tch in the room” attitude you gotta bring it in Versace and for me Ashley fails.

Yes I’m hating her Brian Atwood ‘Harrison’ black pumps with this dress, and wishing she pulled her hair back because of the high neckline, but would that have saved this look? Who knows.

The “Twilight” actress completed her look with a grey glitter Raven Kauffman Couture ‘Muse’ clutch and a studded Padma by Padma Lakshmi cuff.

Ciara was one of of the many celebrity guests to arrive at New York’s Cipriani restaurant for the wedding of former MTV VJ LaLa Vasquez and her basketball beau Carmelo Anthony.

They say never wear white to a wedding to upstage the bride, but that should also extend to ultra mini dresses.

Ciara has a thing for Versace Spring 2010 mini dresses as we first saw her wearing one to the Us Weekly Hot Hollywood Style Issue Event earlier this year.

The singer’s pink printed Versace Spring 2010 asymmetrical mini was paired with platform heels from the same collection.

I would be too self conscious to wear this dress period let alone at a wedding, so I’ve got to respect Ciara for daring wear this mini in the first instance.

Under normal circumstances I would say this is no quite appropriate for a wedding, but with likes of Kim Kardashian arriving in a gold Herve Leger dress I would say their were no rules at this wedding.
