Scarlett Johansson In Proenza Schouler – 2nd Annual Champions Of Rockaway Hurricane Sandy Benefit

Scarlett Johansson In Proenza Schouler - 2nd Annual Champions Of Rockaway Hurricane Sandy Benefit

New mum Scarlett Johansson made a return to the red carpet for the Friends Of Rockaway 2nd annual Hurricane Sandy fundraiser held at Hudson Terrace on Tuesday (November 18) in New York City.

Showcasing her post-baby figure, the actress wore a Proenza Schouler black and navy silk crepe dress from the Spring 2015 collection.

With an elegant cut and rendered in a classy blue shade, this dress, defined with a pleated skirt, is the perfect preppy-meets-pretty event-appropriate number.

I just wish I could get a little more excited about it, but I failed.

Sophia Webster ‘Flamingo’ pumps rounded out her look.

Naomi Campbell In Proenza Schouler – 18th Annual Accessories Council ACE Awards

Naomi Campbell In Proenza Schouler - 18th Annual Accessories Council ACE Awards

Naomi Campbell attended the 18th Annual Accessories Council ACE Awards held at Cipriani 42nd Street on Monday (November 3) in New York City.

The model, who has been fiercely loyal to two designers over her long career – Alexander McQueen and Azzedine Alaïa – opted to wear a look from the Proenza Schouler Fall 2014 collection.

The silver flock print adds a graphic punch to this impeccably tailored halter design with a flared skirt which showcases those enviable long legs.

While I would’ve loved a fierce pair of black sandals with this look, Naomi kept it chic, selecting patent-leather Proenza Schouler pumps instead.

As this was the ACE Awards, the look was given a flourish with diamante cuffs.

Dakota Fanning In Proenza Schouler – 18th Annual Accessories Council ACE Awards

Dakota Fanning attended the 18th Annual Accessories Council ACE Awards held at Cipriani 42nd Street on Monday (November 3) in New York City, where she presented Jack McCollough and Lazaro Hernandez with the 2014 ‘Designer of the Year’ ACE Award.

Going for a whole new look, which sadly didn’t include cutting, colouring or even putting up her hair into a simple ponytail, the actress wore a Proenza Schouler cobalt and metal crochet dress revealing a black bralet and panties, which she styled with a black and white fringed Proenza Schouler clutch, plus Proenza Schouler navy and black leather sandals, all of which hail from the Spring 2015 collection.

I’m so used to seeing Dakota in a succession of samey dresses that I almost don’t know what to make of this.

It’s a bold approach to shaking up one’s style, even if it is for one night only, but is it a risk which paid off?

To some degree I would say yes. The only thing really throwing me off is her pose. I wish she’d thrown back her shoulders and really owned this look.

‘Interstellar’ LA Premiere Red Carpet Roundup

'Interstellar' LA Premiere Red Carpet Roundup

Here is a roundup of a few more looks which hit the red carpet on Sunday evening (October 26) for the ‘Interstellar’ LA premiere held at TCL Chinese Theatre IMAX.

Jess Weixler: The actress, who’s gone from blonde to a deep jet-black hue, wore a Prada burgundy long-sleeved dress enriched with crystal and jet beaded embroidery, which she simply styled with Stuart Weitzman ‘Nudist’ sandals. This look is nice enough; perhaps it could’ve nipped in at the waist more, but I always want a bit more from her.

Tessa Thompson: The actress wore a Proenza Schouler cut-out tri-colour dress which is instantly recognisable for its unique design and woodgrain pattern from the Fall 2014 collection. Styled with a black Swarovski clutch, vintage ring and Monika Chiang ankle-strap pumps, this was one of the standout looks from this red carpet.

Mackenzie Foy: The adorable young actress wore a Marchesa Notte blush multi-layered cocktail dress with a bodice beautifully decorated with gold embroidery. Her styling, which included a side-swept braid and Loeffler Randall ‘Reina’ kitten heels, perfected this sweet and youthful red carpet look.

Jada Pinkett Smith attended the Gotham Panel At PaleyFest NY on Saturday (October 18) in New York City.

The actress wore a Proenza Schouler suede shift dress in an autumnal dark-green hue which was quite plain, but as Jada doesn’t often do plain she amped up the look with maroon Alaïa fringed suede sandals.

A green Bottega Veneta clutch and a side-swept fishtail braided ponytail completed her simple look with a twist.

Emma Stone’s ‘Birdman’ New York Promo Tour

Emma Stone's 'Birdman' New York Promo Tour

The last two days have seen a flurry of appearances for Emma Stone, who has been busy promoting her latest movie, ‘Birdman’.

92nd Street Y Film Series: On Monday (October 13) the actress opted for an indigo Michael Kors knit top with a white furry collar styled with smart trousers from the Spring 2015 collection. Sweet, smart and playful, the look was styled with a pair of Aquazzura ‘Matilde’ hot-red pumps.

‘The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon': Later that same evening the actress made a guest appearance on Jimmy Fallon’s show, opting for another pair of red pumps for her second look; Kurt Geiger ‘Britton’ pumps. Once again the mood was playful in an understated fashion, featuring a black Proenza Schouler sweater styled with Proenza Schouler off white and black windowpane short with pleats which further elongate her slender pins.

Screening Of ‘Birdman’ hosted by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts And Sciences for official Academy members: After two great looks, I found myself underwhelmed by the third. I would save those gorgeous Aquazzura toecap pumps and the sexy Altuzarra skirt with the asymmetrical slit, but the ill-fitting white top kills this look for me.

I want to say the Jimmy Fallon look is my favourite, but I’m also in love with the indigo/red combo of the Film Series look.
