Celebrities at the ‘Sirens’ New York Premiere

Last week in New York City, the stars of Sirens gathered to celebrate the premiere of their new Netflix series. Meghann Fahy, Julianne Moore, and Milly Alcock each turned up in looks that perfectly reflected their style personalities.

Fringe benefits

Meghann Fahy knows how to land a look that balances sophistication with a hint of edge. This Proenza Schouler Spring 2025 cut-out bandage dress with the studded car wash panel skirt was already making a statement, but that pink fringe underskirt ensured it was a moment. It gave the look added movement, and just right amount of high-fashion drama.

The bob may have outshined the Bottega

Julianne Moore, ever the Bottega Veneta loyalist, wore a black dress by Louise Trotter. While it didn’t quite give me the excitement her Cannes looks did, it still had that quiet luxury energy she does so well. What really caught my attention though? The bob. Julianne’s gone for the chop, and she’s not alone—May seems to be the unofficial month of the celebrity haircut. It’s giving reinvention season, and I’m here for it.

Underdressed?

Then there’s Milly Alcock in Miu Miu Fall 2025, which at first glance might read as underdressed for a premiere, but after a closer look—and a healthy dose of personality—she sold it to me. I rarely find myself praising Miu Miu’s red carpet offerings, but this worked. There’s a rebellious streak to the collection, and Milly’s energy matches it stride for stride. The styling helped, but more than anything, it’s that cool-girl confidence that made this feel right.
