Gwyneth Paltrow Wore Proenza Schouler & Erdem To The 2026 AFI Awards & BAFTA Tea Party
We’re not used to seeing Gwyneth Paltrow out so much, but with awards season underway, the actress is gracing more red carpets than we typically see.

She started off the weekend dressed in a Proenza Schouler Spring 2026 simple Roberts tank and sarong-style draped skirt, which gave summer in the Hamptons, winter in St Barts vibes. I preferred the runway styling, but this was the perfect look for Gwyneth’s laid-back style sensibilities. Proenza Schouler Tee asymmetric thong sandals completed the look, along with Tacori jewellery.

And then this happened. Look, I’m always team something different and something new, but I will forever struggle to get on board with Erdem’s textural fabrics. Creases this deep, even when designed that way, will never read as elegant to me. Gwyneth looked like she had just stepped out of bed to answer the door to a delivery person and grabbed the nearest jacket so the outfit felt less pyjama-adjacent. From the waist up, this was a good look for her, and I’m glad she didn’t even consider the ruffled collar we saw on the runway. Garatti jewels from the Fancy Collection completed the look.
This look reminded me of Vicky Krieps’ Bottega Veneta look worn to the ‘Father Mother Sister Brother’ New York Film Festival premiere.
