Chen Shu In Prabal Gurung - 19th Annual Shanghai Television Festival

Chen Shu attended the 19th Annual Shanghai Television Festival held at the Himalayan Art Center in Shanghai, China last week.

The Asian beauty wore a drape-front black-and-white Prabal Gurung Pre-Fall 2013 halter gown with cut-out details at the shoulder and a slit at the back.

While I loved the dress, the styling didn’t work for me. Her Tiffany jewels were perfect; however, the Alexander McQueen light-blue clutch feels very out of place, plus the gold knuckle clasp doesn’t complement her Tiffany diamonds.

I have never been a fan of mixing metals and this is a classic reason why – it pulls down the whole look.

Antje Traue In Prabal Gurung - 'Man of Steel' Taormina Filmfest 2013 Premiere

Antje Traue joined her ‘Man of Steel’ co-star Amy Adams at the Taormina Filmfest 2013 in Taormina, Italy on Saturday.

The German actress failed to impress in her sombre Chanel dress during the London premiere, however things were much improved on this occasion.

She opted for a flirty ivory baroque print silk charmeuse drape dress with black asymmetrical panels from the Prabal Gurung Fall 2013 collection.

Antje’s commercial version of the dress doesn’t feature the embroidered hem which we saw on the runway, however, this is still a perfect frock for the occasion.

The only thing I like about this look is the dress, as I’m not inspired by the styling – especially the nude pumps.

Gwyneth Paltrow In Prabal Gurung - Goop Launches The Summer Season

Gwyneth Paltrow hosted the Goop’s party to launch the summer season, at Mark’s Club in London’s Mayfair this evening.

Following Brit Marling, Gwynie wore a look from the Prabal Gurung Fall 2013 collection.

The actress wore sexy Tom Ford black sandals with her ivory baroque print silk charmeuse shirt dress with chiffon sleeve and a drape skirt.

I’m sure many, excluding Zoe Saldana, would’ve rocked the look sans cut-out leather belt, however Gwynie made it work with her look.

Many of you won’t be surprised, or happy, to see that she opted to keep the same hairstyle she wore throughout her ‘Iron Man 3’ tour.

Maybe next time she will give us something new. I doubt it, but I can be hopeful.

Brit Marling In Prabal Gurung - 'The East' New York Premiere

Brit Marling attended the New York premiere of her latest movie ‘The East’ held at Sunshine Landmark in New York City on Monday evening.

The blonde actress oozed ‘It’ girl coolness, wearing a Prabal Gurung Fall 2013 dress.

Her white silk-crepe draped-waist long-sleeved dress featured an asymmetrical satin hem and cut-out shoulder accented with gold studs.

The look is simple, yet there are many elements to it as described above.

She manages to pull it off; the effortless styling is the key. However, I would’ve preferred a different pair of shoes to the Valentino studded pumps she went for.

Vogue and MAC Cosmetics Dinner Party

Many more stars attended the Vogue and MAC Cosmetics dinner hosted by Lisa Love and John Demsey in honour of Prabal Gurung at the Chateau Marmont in Los Angeles, California on Monday alongside Diane Kruger, Zoe Saldana and Jaime King.

Cody Horn: The ‘Magic Mike’ actress opted for a luxe tapestry pencil skirt with a matching short-sleeved top with black sleeves and a ruffled peplum. The black ankle boots wouldn’t have been my first choice with this look; however, Prabal Gurung looks and edgy accessories go hand in hand.

Hailee Steinfeld: The teen actress selected a navy silk dress featuring an embellished bib, which she styled with a black clutch and ecru Coach ‘Leighann’ sandals. You may remember her first Prabal Gurung moment was at the 2011 Golden Globe Awards.

Jena Malone: The indie actress opted for a decorative Prabal Gurung black-and-white frock paired with clear pvc heels with a black ankle strap. Had they not featured a visible ankle strap, it would’ve looked like she was barefooted.
