Menswear Red Carpet Roundup

Menswear Red Carpet Roundup

Here is a quick menswear roundup celebrating the return of Ryan Gosling to the red carpet.

Ryan Gosling: The actor attended the Paris premiere of the ‘Lost River’ film on Tuesday (April 7) in Paris, France. Sticking with his favoured brand, Gucci, the actor wore an immaculately tailored ‘Dylan’ suit in the contemporary slim fit, rendered in a charcoal grey shade and styled with a striped shirt, which gave the look a slight retro feel.

Scott Eastwood: The actor joined co-star Britt Robertson for ‘The Longest Ride’ premiere on Monday (April 6). The tonal look feels very sharp in part to the tailoring and luxurious fabrics.

Oscar Isaac: Joining his co-star Alicia Vikander, Oscar attended the ‘Ex Machina’ New York premiere wearing a green suit designed with sophisticated style, achieving a wholesome, debonair look.

Celebrities Love…Gucci Lady Web Bags

Celebrities Love Gucci Lady Web Bags

Gucci has already lured a group of lovelies to its ‘Lady Web’, entrapping them with the casual glamour of the Spring 2015 shoulder bag that references the vintage spirit of the ’70s yet with a thoroughly contemporary spin.

Replete with the brand’s iconic equestrian-inspired details, including an antique-gold horsebit closure, the bag is no one-trick pony. Interchangeable shoulder straps, including a matching strap and the signature red-and-green striped web nylon strap, instantly change the look—and conform to a range of occasions.

The bag features in brown suede and original GG canvas, as well as leather and croc, with the laidback-luxe vibe of the suede the clear standout among a range of celebrities.

Dakota Johnson, Cameron Diaz, Florence Welch, and Alessandra Ambrosio have all woven the ‘Lady Web’ into their individualized looks, highlighting the versatility of the bag that sees it crossing seasons and styles and providing a contrasting yet complementary edge to each one.

Who Wore Gucci Better…Beyonce Knowles, Bella Thorne or Alesha Dixon?

Who Wore Gucci Better Beyonce Knowles, Bella Thorne or Alesha Dixon

Way back in June, Beyonce Knowles was the first to wear this sexy ivory Gucci jumpsuit to the event to celebrate the one-year anniversary of Chime for Change.

A few months later, young Bella Thorne wore the same one-piece to the ‘Horrible Bosses 2′ LA premiere. Like Beyonce she also wore Gucci platform sandals, but I prefer Bella’s silver pair over Bey’s heavy black option.

Alesha Dixon gave this amazing piece its third outing during the ‘Britain’s Got Talent’ auditions last month, styling her look with pieces to amp up the sex appeal.

Torn between Alesha and Bella, I eventually went with Alesha for her chic styling of the look.

Charlize Theron In Gucci – ‘The Gunman’ LA Premiere

Charlize Theron In Gucci - 'The Gunman' LA Premiere

Sean Penn and Charlize Theron attended the LA premiere of ‘The Gunman’ held at Regal Cinemas LA Live on Thursday (March 12) in Los Angeles, California.

Continuing to shun all black, much to my delight, Charlize wore a Gucci Spring 2015 blue printed bohemian dress in a simple silhouette made impactful with the beaded detailing and deep V neckline, which heightens the femininity of the look.

Simply styled with a taupe satin Gucci clutch and Jimmy Choo ‘Minny’ sandals, it’s great to see Charlize loosen up on the red carpet again. She’s radiant here.

Tom Ford Fall 2015 Front Row

Tom Ford Fall 2015 Front Row

While some editors and models were headed to London for round two of fashion month, Anna Wintour, Karlie Kloss and Joan Smalls headed west for the Tom Ford Fall 2015 show which was showcased in LA on Friday (February 20).

The result, a packed A-List front row of which nineteen looks have been featured.

With the Oscars on Sunday and with everyone in town, it was quite a master-stroke to host the show in LA this weekend.

TOM’S FAVOURITES
Julianne Moore: The actress was no doubt top of the guest list working a Spring 2015 green ensemble festooned with feathers, sequins and camo print. I would not bet against Julianne wearing Tom Ford on Sunday despite the Givenchy run up.

Gwyneth Paltrow: I expected a bit more from Gwynie. This cold shoulder Pre-Fall 2015 LBD feels a bit been there done that and boring for such an occasion.

The Carters: He was looking mighty dapper in a signature wide lapel suit, while she was looking bootylicious in a typically sheer embellished Spring 2014 creation.

Lily James In Gucci & Erdem – ‘Cinderella’ (Cenerentola) Milan Photocall & Premiere

Lily James In Gucci & Erdem - 'Cinderella' (Cenerentola) Milan Photocall & Premiere

Lily James’ next stop on the road for the promotion of her latest movie ‘Cinderella’ (Cenerentola) took her to Milan, Italy, where she attended both a photocall and the premiere on Thursday (February 18). As you can see from both looks, the princess theme has given way to sleeker, more modern looks, perhaps to highlight her new strawberry-blonde tresses.

Photocall: The British actress started off her day wearing a Gucci Spring 2015 halter dress. I love the marriage of the understated midi silhouette with a glamorous scarlet-red hue, which she kept contemporary with black strappy Christian Louboutin ‘Viennana’ sandals.

Premiere: She opted to forgo the expected gown for the premiere for an a Erdem Spring 2015 midi dress. Despite wishing this was floor length, one can’t help but be captivated by the opulence of this floral embroidered dress. Flavourful of romance with controlled sensuality, while I love the styling – which included Jimmy Choo ‘Elsa’ sandals – I’m unsure about the berry lip here.
