Rob Pattinson In Gucci – 7th Annual GO GO Gala

Rob Pattinson In Gucci - 7th Annual GO GO Gala

It looks like I was a bit hasty to bring menswear to a close as I forgot Robert Pattinson.

The British actor attended the 7th annual GO GO Gala held at Montage Beverly Hills on Thursday (November 13) in California wearing Gucci Fall 2014 uber-cool espresso hued wool crepe notch lapel Dylan suit, styled with a pale blue dress shirt and brown leather lace ups.

The overall look is smart with a laidback vibe.

I must admit I am quite taken by the colour. It would seem shades of brown in menswear are winning me over this week.

The real news here is his hair. A drastic cut to say the least, but is it for a movie role, or did he just lose a bet?

Menswear Red Carpet Roundup

Menswear Red Carpet Roundup 14 nov

Here is a final roundup of some dapper menswear looks this week.

Brad Pitt: The actor is in Seoul, South Korea, where he attended the premiere of his latest movie, ‘Fury’, on Thursday (November 13). Flying solo on the red carpet, the actor wore a black three-piece look from Salvatore Ferragamo’s Fall 2014 collection which he made all the more swoon-worthy with just a simple black tee and rugged boots. There was a time when he was starting to lose his appeal, as homeless chic wasn’t really working for me, but this sees a return to form.

Channing Tatum: The actor made a guest appearance on ‘The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon’ on Wednesday night (November 12) wearing his second windowpane suit of the week. This time his blue peak-lapel suit styled with a pale-blue shirt and navy tie was from his favoured brand, Gucci. I have to say, blue is his colour; I think I prefer this over the grey Dolce & Gabbana look from earlier in the week. Which do you prefer?

Celebrities Love…Gucci’s Cruise 2015 Silver-Crystal Tubular-Embroidery-Detailed Gowns

Celebs Love Gucci's Cruise 2015 Silver-Crystal Tubular-Embroidery-Detailed Gowns

The Gucci Cruise 2015 has become quite a hit with celebs this fall, and not only with the brand’s favourite gals.

A common theme which has been enticing celebs to this collection seems to be the silver-crystal tubular-embroidery-detailed gowns.

It has enhanced Blake Lively’s plunging neckline, trimmed the cut-outs and neckline on Charlotte Casiraghi’s sleeveless gown, amped up the sporty appeal of Camilla Belle’s blue gown and given an edge to Toni Garrn’s simple silhouette. Other fans have included Jessie J and Dakota Johnson.

Each celeb accessorized with silver accessories to perfectly complement their look.

Best Dressed Of The Week – Kate Hudson In Gucci Première, Jessica Chastain In Roksanda & Eddie Redmayne in Gucci

Best Dressed Of The Week - Kate Hudson In Gucci Première, Jessica Chastain In Roksanda & Eddie Redmayne in Gucci

Kate Hudson was your best dressed this week oozing glamour and elegance in her Gucci Premiere gown, while I was swept away by Jessica Chastain in a Roksanda fit-and-flare bubble jacquard frock.

This look came hot on the heels of a rare misstep for Jessica, so I was delighted to see her back on top form. She really is the girl of the moment.

For the fellas, Eddie Redmayne in Gucci was once again the winner. I considered David Beckham in Ralph Lauren, but was put off eventually by the creases in his trousers.

Menswear Red Carpet Roundup

men

Here is a quick menswear roundup featuring three – one especially – very handsome fellas.

David Beckham: The former soccer star, who is now lending his bearded face to whisky, attended the press conference for Diageo Korea ‘Haig Club’ held at the Grand Hyatt Hotel on Wednesday (November 5) in Seoul, South Korea. Like Scotch Whisky, David gets better with age, looking oh so very handsome in his Ralph Lauren Black Label suit in dark navy.

Matthew McConaughey: The actor broke his Dolce & Gabbana run to wear a Dsquared² checked suit while attending the ‘Interstellar’ premiere held at the Smithsonian’s National Air and Space Museum in Washington, DC on Wednesday. Methinks this is his best suit this week in terms of fit and style.

Eddie Redmayne: After a mammoth effort promoting their new movie, ‘The Theory of Everything’, Felicity Jones handed over the reins to Eddie, who was flying solo on the red carpet at the Smithsonian National Museum Of American History on Thursday (November 6) for the Washington, DC premiere wearing a Gucci suit. As we would expect, the colour is non-traditional, the fit is impeccable, the styling even more so, and the man is impossible to stop on this current form.

Equality Now’s Make Equality Reality Event

Equality Now's Make Equality Reality Event

Equality Now’s Make Equality Reality event sponsored by Gucci was held at The Montage Hotel on Monday (November 3) in Los Angeles, California.

Salma Hayek Pinault: Following her stellar effort at the LAMCA gala, the actress wore a Gucci Spring 2015 forest-green suede eyelet-embroidered V-neck cap-sleeved dress with a black satin Gucci box clutch. Something is throwing me off the look; I think it’s the belt.

Mia Maestro: The actress opted for a graphic leopard-print Gucci Pre-Fall 2014 dress featuring a pleated skirt and black leather inserts to give the look an edge. Louboutin pumps, a Jimmy Choo clutch and Dana Rebecca Designs jewels accessorized her look.
