Blake Lively In Gucci Première - 2013 Met Gala

Blake Lively shunned punk for high glamour on Monday night for the 2013 Met Gala in New York City.

Taking to the red carpet solo, the actress and face of Gucci Première did the brand proud giving us our blonde bombshell moment.

While some of you will be disappointed that this gown wasn’t saved for Cannes perhaps, I’m glad that we have yet another diva moment…the first coming from Beyonce of course.

Her pale-green strapless Gucci confection featured a dramatic skirt with layers of black organza adorned with silver and matte black feather motif embroidered details. Blake styled the gown with her favourite jeweller Lorraine Schwartz, who supplied the opulent chain tassel champagne diamond earrings.

A bunched ponytail completed her look.

Any Blake Lively look is a marmite look, so do you love it or loathe it?

Rosie Huntington-Whiteley In Gucci - 2013 Met Gala

Rosie Huntington-Whiteley opted for a dark sensual look on the red carpet for the 2013 Met Gala on Monday evening in New York City.

The model gives us our first taste of the Gucci Fall 2013 gown on the red carpet.

The actress opted to let the gown, featuring a sheer black-and-gold netted tulle top embroidered with metallic degrade sequins and satin skirt, do all the talking.

However, she did add beautiful drop earrings, and a diamond gold statement ring to her look, glossing her hair back at the sides for a punk inspired ‘do.

After falling into the meh category at the 2013 Golden Globe Awards, she’s back on fire here.

Do you agree?

Li Bingbing In Gucci - Gucci Baselworld

Li Bingbing was also in Basel, Switzerland, joining Gucci CEOs at the Gucci Baselworld event to showcase their watch and jewelry wares.

Her first Gucci look was a dark-green lace embroidered dress featuring a sweetheart neckline, with a black belt from the Pre-Fall 2013 collection.

She added a special edition Gucci Bamboo timepiece and bracelet, plus horsebit earrings in 18kt pink gold with onyx and black diamonds.

Completing her head-to-toe Gucci look, she carried a yellow patent horsebit clutch, black peep-toes and a brown wool coat. Minus the clutch, this is yet another chic look which proves why she is such a great ambassador for Gucci.

For her visit to the Ateliers, where she got to see the pieces being produced up close, the Asian beauty donned another Gucci Pre-Fall 2013 look.

Keeping her brown wool coat, she wore a red-and-black plaid top and pants, which she styled with Gucci horsebit earrings.

Even though I can’t see all of look two, it is my favoured look.

Malaga Film Festival Closing Ceremony

The 2013 Malaga Film Festival had its official closing ceremony at Teatro Cervantes in Spain on Saturday.

Juana Acosta: Probably the best-dressed star of this festival, Juana wore a gorgeous limoncello gown by Spanish designer, Lorenzo Caprile. The form-fitting gown with padded shoulders and a mermaid silhouette was styled with a Lorenzo Caprile gold clutch and Barcena jewels for a head-to-toe Spanish representative look. Glossy waves, a red lip colour and matching manicure completed her look.

Dafne Fernandez: My favourite Spanish actress kept it simple and chic, wearing an Oscar de la Renta navy gown from the Spring 2013 collection. Opting not to wear the gold-metallic belt that the dress was styled with on the runway, she instead added a gold clutch to her navy short-sleeved gown with a sheer yoke. While Dafne looks stunning, I would’ve preferred the look with the belt.

Eva Marciel: The actress also selected a bold colour, wearing a Carolina Herrera lace emerald-green one-shoulder gown styled with Jimmy Choo sandals, a gold Escada clutch and gold Tous jewels. Like Juana, she also opted for glossy waves, red lips and a red manicure.

Nieves Alvarez In Gucci - Condé Nast Traveller Awards

Nieves Alvarez attended the Condé Nast Traveller Awards held in Madrid, Spain this week looking as stunning as always.

Never one to do things by halves, she wore a bold coral look from the Gucci Spring 2013 collection, featuring a tunic with an elaborate embellished neckline and a keyhole detail.

I don’t care how sad this sounds, but my heart skipped a little beat of joy when I saw her metallic-green Manolo Blahnik pumps. She never fails on the shoe front and God bless her for that.

Perhaps with that decorative neckline the supermodel and TV host possibly didn’t need to add Bvlgari jewels and a gold studded Christian Louboutin clutch, but the looks gets two thumbs up from me regardless.

Juana Acosta In Herve Leger, Gucci & Christian Dior - 2013 Malaga Film Festival

Juana Acosta is certainly putting her best foot forward on the red carpet during the 2013 Malaga Film Festival, which she opened wearing a gorgeous Zuhair Murad gown, and since then she has gone on to wear three more beautiful looks.

Day Two: On the second day of the festival, Juana opted for a sexy Hervé Léger By Max Azria bandage dress from the Pre-Fall 2013 collection, which she styled with Jimmy Choo shoes and an Elie Saab clutch. As someone who had long tired of Herve Leger dresses, I have to say this one is gorgeous. I love the print and the styling is impeccable, and as for her cascading glossy tresses, Kate Middleton and Allison Williams eat your heart out.

Day Five: For the ‘Gala Premio Ricardo Franco’ she selected a Gucci Spring 2013 silk dress with layered flounces decorating the sides. In an attempt to make this look her own, she styled her look with a mint-green necklace instead of the orange we saw on the runway. Green Jimmy Choo pumps and a gold Jimmy Choo ‘Tube’ clutch also accessorized her look. Do you like Juana’s interpretation of this look, or should she have stuck to the runway styling? Swap the pumps for sandals in the same colour and it would’ve been perfect for me.

Day Six: Yesterday evening she donned yet another runway look, this time from the hugely popular – much to our surprise – Christian Dior Spring 2013 collection. The look featured a strapless yellow top with a cascading pink-lined tail paired with sexy shorts with a slit. Black Gucci heels, a Daniel Espinosa clutch and Carrera y Carrera jewels completed her look.

The actress has showcased four different, unique looks and given us a wide range of colours, hairstyles and accessories. Which of the four was your favourite?
