Red Carpet Fashion Awards

Menswear 1 April

Across New York City, the men were out in force in support of two blockbuster films. Here, a glimpse at their looks.

Sebastian Stan: The Romanian actor was at the ‘Captain America: The Winter Soldier’ screening after party, hosted at The Jimmy at the James Hotel in New York City on Monday (March 31).  Working his own shades of grey, he paired the slight sheen of his suit with the shine of a long tie.

Chris Evans: Standing alongside Sebastian, Chris worked a Gucci blue pinstripe notch-lapel, two-button ‘Signoria’ suit with a light-blue dress shirt, printed tie and black leather lace-up shoes. His ensemble really enhanced his own baby blues.

Hugh Jackman: Joining Douglas Booth at the ‘Noah’ London premiere at the Odeon Leicester Square on Monday (March 31), Hugh was simply suave in a Burberry Tailoring dark charcoal suit, contrasted with a white button-down shirt, black tie and loafers.

Camilla Belle In Gucci - Christian Louboutin Celebrates Launch of 'Passage' Handbag Collection

Camilla Belle attended Christian Louboutin’s celebration of the launch of ‘Passage’ handbag collection at a private lunch hosted at the Chateau Marmont in Los Angeles on Tuesday (March 25).

The actress looked very pretty wearing a saffron-yellow Gucci Pre-Fall 2014 shirt dress accented with a tonal corset-like belt.

Her ’70s-inspired dress needed minimal accessories; however, Camilla added an animal-print Christian Louboutin clutch with the brand’s much-loved nude ‘Pigalle’ pumps and a selection of silver jewels.

The fuchsia-pink adds an extra touch of spice to this luncheon look.

Mens 11

Andrew Garfield: The actor joined co-star/girlfriend Emma Stone for ‘The Amazing Spider-Man 2: Rise Of Electro’ photocall on Thursday (March 20) in Sydney, Australia. Having not lost any of his stylish instincts, he looked very dapper wearing a super-smart dark-denim suit styled with a mauve shirt and brown loafers.

Theo James: Joining co-star Shailene Woodley at the ‘Divergent’ New York screening, Theo looked very handsome wearing a blue checked suit, cool-blue shirt and brown polka dot tie.

Jake Gyllenhaal:
Looking like he has spent a year in the wilderness, Jake took to the red carpet for the Madrid premiere of his latest movie ‘Enemy’ last night wearing sleek blue one-button suit with an open white shirt. He styled the look with battered boots that look like they have been in the wilderness for a longer period of time.

Blake Lively In Gucci – On The Set Of ‘Age of Adaline’ Part 2It would appear that Blake Lively’s wardrobe in ‘Age of Adaline’ will be a supremely chic one. Previously donning a Gucci Resort 2014 frock while filming in Vancouver, Canada, she continues to come to the movie set in Gucci looks that are smartly modern with plenty of retro-sophisticated appeal.

Look 1: On Monday (March 17), the actress wore a Gucci Pre-Fall 2013 striped, multi-colour sweater and forest-green, pleated skirt, topped off with a camel trench coat. Designer Frida Giannini’s Pre-Fall collection was rich in fifties references, which were only enhanced here by Blake’s styling, including a demure handbag and pumps along with her rolled ’do.

Look 2: While filming a late-night scene with co-star Michiel Huisman on Wednesday (March 19), she again wore a piece from the Pre-Fall 2013 collection, with her deep-green trench coat taking top billing. The sculpted shape and full skirt of the coat, styled with black gloves, couldn’t be more well-suited to the vintage spirit of the film.

Blake Lively Films 'Age of Adaline'

Blake Lively was spotted on the set of her latest movie ‘Age of Adaline’ filming scenes on the steps of the Vancouver Art Gallery on Tuesday (March 18) in Vancouver, Canada.

This could almost be a scene from ‘Gossip Girl’ if it weren’t for the ’50s styling.

Blake’s blonde hair was parted on the side and pulled back into a low ponytail with twists in the front, while she was wearing a look from the Gucci Resort 2014 collection.

The chic Gucci silk tea dress featuring a beach-ball print interspersed with panels in a contrasting heart motif was styled with a navy cardigan with white stripe detailing and ankle-strap black pumps.

I love that the modern-day frock can work with her 1950s wardrobe. Frida Giannini often seeks inspiration from bygone eras for her Gucci collections, so it’s interesting to see it move full circle here.
