Celebrities in Gucci for the 2026 Vanity Fair Oscar Party
Nine guests wore Gucci to the 2026 Vanity Fair Oscar Party, but only eight were dressed by Demna.

Same Silhouette, New Hair
Kim Kardashian stepped onto the red carpet in a Gucci Primavera gold-plated, long-sleeve embroidered dress. She may have felt like she was switching things up, but aside from the hair, eye colour and overall demeanour, this was familiar territory. The silhouette is one we have seen on her countless times, especially during her Balenciaga Demna era. The Oscar statue inspiration is clear, but we’ve been here before.

Back On Form
Kate Hudson really chose 2026 to make up for the heartache of her 2025 Song Sung Blue press tour, but I approve of her using awards season as an apology tour, as I was left breathless by this Gucci cut-out embroidered dress. Where was this energy last year? The Garatti jewellery finishes the look perfectly. This is the Kate I know and absolutely adore.

Missing The Finishing Touch
Black-on-black is usually a favourite of mine, but Adrien Brody needed the brooch from his main event suit to lift this classic Gucci tuxedo.

Subtle Sparkle, Strong Result
Karlie Kloss is the CEO of understated glamour, so I love that she brought a touch of sparkle to the red carpet in this custom Gucci strapless black gown, embroidered with a floral lace motif and sheer sequins. Tiffany & Co. jewels completed her look.

Vintage Mood
Keke Palmer is the queen of vintage glamour, and while this Gucci purple velvet dress is not archival, the turtleneck and low-waisted skirt give early ‘90s energy. I am fully on board with it.

Golden Girl Part II
Laura Harrier also a Gucci golden girl in this backless, crystal-embroidered gown. Tiffany & Co. earrings shone just as brightly.

Still Not Convinced
As you know, I have an ongoing issue with Patrick Schwarzenegger’s red carpet style, and this Gucci black velvet tuxedo is doing nothing to change that. The fit of the jacket, length of the trousers, along with the grooming, all feel off. This needed more care.

So Close
Tyriq Withers’ Gucci tuxedo jacket needed the lapels steamed and pressed. With that one fix, this would have been perfect.

Archive Simplicity Wins
Maria Sharapova was not dressed by Demna, but she still wore Gucci, dipping into either the archives or her own closet with this Gucci Spring 2013 dress. The minimalism and ruffled sleeves work beautifully here. Styled with Hearts On Fire jewels and Roger Vivier pumps, this was a refined look that suits her refined style sensibilities.
