‘The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 1′ London Photocall

"The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 1" - Photocall

Julianne Moore, Jennifer Lawrence, Elizabeth Banks and Natalie Dormer attended the photocall for ‘The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 1′ held at the Corinthia Hotel London on Sunday (November 9) in London, England ahead of Monday’s world premiere.

It’s the moment we’ve all been waiting for, but sadly Jena Malone wasn’t in attendance as she was at the EMAs.

Julianne Moore: The actress more than held her own in this quartet wearing a Dries van Noten dress which champions the brand’s retro-modern aesthetic with contrast prints and a relaxed-fit design. Sadly, all the good work is undone with those grey Aquazzura black suede Sexy Thing booties.

Jennifer Lawrence: While tomorrow will most definitely be a Dior night, Jennifer wore her second non-Dior look in a row, donning a white suit from much-buzzed-about new brand Public School. Styled with a black cami top and silver pumps, this is another good look for Jennifer.

Elizabeth Banks: Withdrawing from her Alexander McQueen account early, the actress wore a bold fuchsia frock rendered with a striking contrasting animal and ikat print in a very short design. I usually want to high-five her footwear choices, but I’m not a fan of the Jimmy Choo ‘Vanish’ ankle boots, although I do love the colour.

Natalie Dormer: The British actress usually gives me plenty to shout about, but on this occasion I feel like she hit the mute button. While there is nothing wrong with this Michael Van Der Ham Spring 2015 look, she’s usually oozing with a lot more colour and character.

Cheryl Fernandez Versini In Alexander McQueen – Oxford Street Christmas Lights Switch On Event

Cheryl Fernandez Versini In Alexander McQueen - Oxford Street Christmas Lights Switch On Event

Cheryl Fernandez-Versini switched on the Oxford Street Christmas Lights at Oxford Street on Thursday (November 6) in London, England.

The singer, who often refers to her fans as soldiers, wore an Alexander McQueen military-inspired coat on the evening.

I love the coat for its uber-luxe feel and for its timeless silhouette with a modern spin, with the cut-away front making this quite a unique piece.

Complementing the look with Helmut Lang leather trousers and a metal waistband, she added a bedazzled poppy head in recognition of Remembrance Sunday.

I can imagine the Duchess of Cambridge wearing this coat, modified of course, without the cut-away front.

Elizabeth Banks In Alexander McQueen – 2014 Breeders’ Cup World Championship

Elizabeth Banks In Alexander McQueen Resort 2015 - 2014 Breeders' Cup World Championship

Before ‘The Hunger Games: Mockingjay, Part 1′ world premiere in London next Monday, Elizabeth Banks attended the 2014 Breeders’ Cup World Championships held at Santa Anita Park on Saturday (November 1) in Arcadia, California.

She wore her favourite designer, Alexander McQueen, selecting a look from the Resort 2015 collection.

As you know, I have loved Elizabeth Banks since time began, but I am terribly disappointed by the styling of this black and white printed frock with blue embroidery.

Firstly, I wish she’d taken a cue from the look book, opting for lapis-blue accessories, and a belt would’ve helped elevate the look, but honestly I think the biggest culprits here are the heavy suede pumps – oh, and the hat.

No and no.

Eddie Redmayne In Alexander McQueen – ‘The Theory Of Everything’ LA Premiere

Eddie Redmayne In Alexander McQueen - ‘The Theory Of Everything’ LA Premiere

Eddie Redmayne joined co-star Felicity Jones on the red carpet for the ‘The Theory Of Everything’ premiere held at AMPAS Samuel Goldwyn Theater on Tuesday (October 28) in Beverly Hills, California.

The handsome British actor wore a navy-blue Alexander McQueen suit, opting for a smart plaid McQueen tie instead of the brand’s signature skull print.

It’s almost impossible not to be struck by the sharp tailoring, but it’s the luxurious sheen that elevates this look into suave status.

Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge In Alexander McQueen – The President Of The Republic Of Singapore’s State Visit To The UK

Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge In Alexander McQueen - The President Of The Republic Of Singapore's State Visit To The UK

Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge made her first public appearance since announcing she was pregnant with her second child this afternoon (October 21).

The Duchess, husband Prince William and the Queen welcomed the president of Singapore to the UK for his state visit at Horse Guards Parade in London, England.

The mum-to-be wore a very elegant Alexander McQueen grey Princes of Wales check coat dress that hid all signs of a baby bump.

A smart Jane Taylor fascinator, black Prada pumps and a black suede Jenny Packham ‘Roxy’ clutch from the Fall 2014 collection accessorized her look.

The only thing that is a change from the norm here, is the simple ponytail she sported with her event appropriate look.

Amal Alamuddin In Dolce & Gabbana, Alexander McQueen & Giambattista Valli Couture – Wedding Weekend

Amal Alamuddin In Dolce & Gabbana, Alexander McQueen & Giambattista Valli Couture - Wedding Weekend

George Clooney and Amal Alamuddin’s wedding took place this weekend in Venice, Italy (where the couple met), with many celebrity guests in attendance plus American Vogue’s editor-in-chief, Anna Wintour, who has missed part of Paris Fashion Week to attend the nuptials.

While we wait for the exclusive images of the wedding in Vogue, here are the pictures of Amal showcasing her chic style upon her arrival, at the rehearsal dinner and at the post-wedding brunch.

Arrival: Her first look on Friday (September 26) was a Dolce & Gabbana Spring 2013 black and white striped ankle-length dress. I love that she wore an Italian brand for her arrival, and the classic colour combo which doesn’t scream for attention despite the fact that all eyes are on her. Bow-front Dolce & Gabbana slingbacks were the perfect complement to her ladylike ensemble along with her gold Dolce & Gabbana earrings. You may remember that Olivia Wilde wore this same dress back in March 2013.

Rehearsal Dinner: For the rehearsal dinner later that same evening she opted for something a lot more dramatic, wearing an Alexander McQueen Resort 2011 red gown with a black brush-stroke print and rise-and-fall hemline. If all eyes weren’t already on her, they certainly would’ve been on this occasion. Styling the look with a fiery red lip, I wish she’d been as bold with the shoe selection. If you’re having a slight case of déjà vu, that’s because Michelle Obama wore the same dress with a full skirt to a state dinner back in 2011.

Post-Wedding Brunch: By the time we next saw Amal on Sunday afternoon (September 28), she was Mrs Clooney. She stepped out for brunch wearing a Giambattista Valli Spring 2014 Couture look which once again had a rise-and-fall hemline, showing off what I’m now discovering is her best asset – her legs. The beautiful ivory lace macramé dress with colourful red embroidery was styled with the same metallic-gold pumps we saw on the runway.

Are you developing a style crush?

My favourite look here is the Dolce & Gabbana. While I love the Giambattista Valli Couture frock, a part of me thinks it may have perhaps been too short for a brunch.
