Jennifer Lawrence In Alexander McQueen – 9th Annual Governors Awards

Jennifer Lawrence was spotted sharing some laughs with Emma Stone on the red carpet for the 9th Annual Governors Awards on Saturday (November 11) in Hollywood, California.

You won’t be surprised to learn that I love this embroidered two-piece Alexander McQueen Resort 2018 look on the Jennifer, and it has nothing to do with the fact that it isn’t Dior.

I adore how this look is youthful and playful, with falling ruffles creating a voluminous silhouette with romantic appeal.

And it’s not just her outfit. Her hair and makeup are also saying “girl in her mid 20s”.

Jennifer Hudson In Alexander McQueen – ITV Gala

To say I was overjoyed by Jennifer Hudson’s Alexander McQueen Pre-Fall 2017 look worn to the ITV Gala on Thursday (November 9) in London would be an understatement.

Why?

Because she’s pulled herself out of her mini-dress-all-the-time style-rut, and given us something fresh and different.

Concealing and revealing through cleverly placed pieces of fabric, this look feels infinitely sexier than any mini dress, especially with its sculpting silhouette.

I adore the faux hawk and the sleek sandals which perfect her look.

Is this of her Jennifer’s best outings?

Haley Bennett In Alexander McQueen – ‘Darkest Hour’ LA Premiere

Haley Bennett stepped out for the ‘Darkest Hour’ LA premiere on Wednesday (November 8) in Beverly Hills, California.

With a darkly dramatic look befitting of the film’s title, she donned an Alexander McQueen Fall 2017 embroidered turtleneck dress paired with Charlotte Olympia shoes.

The glint of the red cording throughout is what yielded a near bewitching effect to the plisse frock.

Yet, Haley ensure a sense of lightness stayed within the look given her wispy updo and fresh-faced beauty.

I do wish the sleeves had been marginally shorter.

Fan Bingbing In Giambattista Valli, Elie Saab Couture & Alexander McQueen – Pingyao Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon International Film Festival (PYIFF)

While at the Pingyao Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon International Film Festival (PYIFF) in China, Fan Bingbing showed off three looks over the weekend.

PYIFF Press Conference: At the press conference on Saturday (October 28), Fan had me charmed in her Giambattista Valli Fall 2017 lace gown that took on even sweeter proportions with the cherry motif. With her long curls, this was a modern fairytale look—even if the longer length gave the puffed, swishy skirt a more streamlined effect. Metallic-silver Casadei pumps polished it all off.

Kate Winslet In Alexander McQueen – NYFF’s ‘Wonder Wheel’

Kate Winslet attended the NYFF premiere of ‘Wonder Wheel’ on Saturday (October 14) in New York City.

The picture of refinement, she donned an Alexander McQueen Pre-Fall 2017 embroidered gown.

Yet, it was her sleek bun and minimal accessorising which included Shaun Leane jewels, put the dress in the lane of modern elegance.

While some gowns are in dire need of shortening, I actually found myself wishing this one was just a smidge longer to graze the floor and continue the elongating effect.
