Julianne Moore In Alexander McQueen - BVLGARI Celebration of Elizabeth Taylor’s collection of BVLGARI Jewelry

As brand ambassador, Julianne Moore was the lady of the hour at the BVLGARI celebration of Elizabeth Taylor’s collection of BVLGARI jewelry at the BVLGARI Beverly Hills boutique in Los Angeles, California yesterday evening.

The actress wore a red Alexander McQueen bustier dress from the Spring 2013 collection, which she styled with nude ankle-strap pumps.

As Julianne tends to favour black, I was delighted to see her in this bold hue in a simple silhouette.

Her jewels were, of course, BVLGARI. Julianne is the first person ever to wear this famous Elizabeth Taylor necklace after the legendary actress herself.

She wears it well.

BDOTW Womens 18 Feb

Despite an amazing week of stunning gowns, it was a two clothes-horse race for the title of Best Dressed this week.

It was a close call, but you eventually picked Rihanna’s Alaia Grammy dress as your favourite, whereas I picked the runner-up Marion Cotillard.

We may grumble at the French actress always wearing Dior, but she wears it so well.

Many wouldn’t have been able to pull off this fashion-forward look with such ease, plus I love bold colour, which brightened up a cold and rainy evening in London.

When it came to men, our choices again couldn’t be more different. You picked the handsome Eddie Redmayne in Alexander McQueen, whereas I opted for Frank Ocean in Dior Homme.

Aside from the sleek ink-blue colour, I loved that he wore such a laidback piece on a red carpet where most of the men opted for a classic tux. The Grammys is the one place to stand out and do something different so I’m glad he didn’t opt for a suit and tie.

Zoe Saldana In Alexander McQueen - Academy Of Motion Picture Arts And Sciences' Scientific & Technical Awards

Zoe Saldana attended the Academy Of Motion Picture Arts And Sciences’ Scientific & Technical Awards, held at the Beverly Hills Hotel in California on Saturday.

Her Alexander McQueen Resort 2013 ivory jacquard bustier dress was worn without the belt we can see on the model.

Is this a deal breaker for you?

I think the unique style of the dress, with the cut-out and sexy silhouette, allow the dress to stand alone, so I don’t miss the belt.

Sparkling silver peep-toes and a gold armlet accessorized her look.

A bold red lip and naturally wavy tresses provided the finishing touches.

Katy Perry In Alexander McQueen - MusiCares Grammys

Katy Perry is on fine form at the moment. Who’ve thought that John Mayer would be such a calming influence on her?

Continuing to impress on the red carpet, which landed her the Most Improved 2012 title, the singer was at the Los Angeles Convention Center in California yesterday evening, for the 2013 MusiCares Person Of The Year Gala honoring Bruce Springsteen.

Katy was radiant wearing an Alexander McQueen Resort 2013 orange halter gown with a multi-coloured bejewelled neckline.

You may remember that Emily Blunt wore this dress last year, with equally impressive results.

Katy didn’t opt for many detracting accessories; just stud earrings which don’t dazzle as brightly as her amazing gown.

Flawless makeup and side swept raven tresses completed her look.

I wonder if quirky Katy will come out to play at the Grammys tomorrow?

Naomi Campbell In Alexander McQueen - Late Night with Jimmy Fallon

Yesterday evening, Naomi Campbell made a guest appearance on ‘Late Night with Jimmy Fallon’, which is taped at the Rockefeller Center in New York City.

The model was there to promote her new Oxygen show, ‘The Face’, which aired last night in the US.

Giving us our second look from the Alexander McQueen Pre-Fall 2013 collection, Naomi wore a black-and-white dress with velvet panels, laser-cut detailing on the skirt, a white collar, white pleated cuffs, and a white skirt underlay.

Opting not to wear the look-book leather over-the-knee boots, the supermodel styled her look with Alaïa ankle boots.

I probably would’ve saved this look for Rooney Mara or Elle Fanning, as the look has a sweet schoolgirl vibe to it, but the leggy model’s authoritative stance prevents this look from feeling too girlie for her.

Rooney Mara In Alexander McQueen - 'Side Effects' New York Premiere

Rooney Mara attended the New York premiere of ‘Side Effects’ held at the AMC Lincoln Square Theater in New York City yesterday evening.

The actress wore an Alexander McQueen Pre-Fall 2013 dress, which is our first look at this collection on the red carpet.

Opting to keep the styling simple, Rooney wore nude Nicholas Kirkwood peep-toes with her ivory panelled velvet and macramé cape dress.

There is a strong possibility that Rooney would’ve made the black belt work, but I love her softer presentation of this look.

Smoky eyes, a pink lip colour and her signature lacquered centre-parted ponytail hairstyle provided the finishing touches.

Do you wish Rooney had worn the belt with this look?
