Jisoo Wore McQueen For Blackpink’s ‘Deadline’ World Tour

It’s tartan season — according to McQueen — as the label leads the charge with the heritage check.

First Malala Yousafzai in her tartan McQueen moment on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, and now Jisoo, proving the pattern’s punk legacy still hits hard on the global stage.

Performing in Bangkok as part of BLACKPINK’s ‘Deadline’ World Tour, Jisoo was captured backstage in a red, black, and yellow wool tartan mini dress from the McQueen Resort 2026 collection. I love how the handkerchief hem, asymmetric cut, and layered plaid give the classic fabric a rebellious energy — a refreshing direction when you consider her pretty pink Dior two-piece look, the fluffy Dior ensemble in Paris, and the feathered Self-Portrait moment in Barcelona.

Considering how I’ll always associate this particular colourway of tartan with Britishness, her styling sealed the deal: black leather Sofa Chelsea boots brought utilitarian toughness, while sheer tights and layered McQueen jewellery added that subtle rock-chic edge the house was built on.

Fierce yet feminine, refined yet raw — and, most importantly, fun.
