amfAR Los Angeles 2017

A crush of stars came out for amfAR Los Angeles 2017 on Friday (October 13) in Beverly Hills, California.

Heidi Klum: At this point, I’m always prepared to be disappointed with a Heidi look, but she actually stepped up to the plate in this Ralph & Russo Fall 2017 Couture gown that was a far more modern and sophisticated form of glittery glam for her.  The look was of course styled with Lorraine Schwartz  jewels.

Dita Von Teese: Designer Ulyana Sergeenko and Dita are a perfect match, as can be seen in this Demi-Couture gown that prizes the feminine form with its provocative bustier silhouette and seductive thigh slit.

Kate Hudson: Playing to her buzz cut, Kate kept it cool and mod in this David Koma Resort 2018 gown that scintillated with mirror-like embellishment.  A Jimmy Choo ‘Cloud’ clutch completed her look.

Veuve Clicquot Polo Classic

The Veuve Clicquot Polo Classic was held on Saturday (October 14) in Pacific Palisades, California, with a number of stars in attendance for the day of sport.

Tracee Ellis Ross: This look brought a big smile to my face, as I was immediately charmed by the Agnes B printed top and mustard-yellow Celine trousers. The star of the show was the Eric Javits hat, though, with Stuart Weitzman ‘Marlon’ shoes completing the typically quirky look. The shoes were funky, to be sure, but it was the Louis Vuitton clutch that I could have done without.

Camilla Belle: This Adeam Resort 2018 asymmetrical frock offered up such a delicately feminine vibe, with her pink lip echoing that spirit. Her block heels ensured there would be no sinking into the grass.

Kate Hudson: I loved the playfulness of this candy-stripe Johanna Ortiz Resort 2018 wide-leg jumpsuit, all tied up with its girlish bow. But, I would have been fearful that Kate would trip on the pants that puddled on the ground. The giant rosebud earrings were such fun as was the Clare V. ‘Petite Alice’ tote.

Kate Hudson In David Koma – The Ellen DeGeneres Show

Since shaving her long blonde hair for Sia’s directorial debut, ‘Sister,’ Kate Hudson has been on a real fashion high for me with her choice of bold patterns and colours.

During a recent trip to ‘The Ellen DeGeneres Show’ on Thursday (October 12), the actress continued to turn heads in a David Koma Resort 2018 ensemble featuring a soft green crop top and a white below-the-knee skirt.

White Christian Louboutin pumps and Jennifer Meyer jewels added to the refreshing colour palette—as did the swipe of red lipstick.

It’s a fun and flirty look as is, but I would have liked to see Kate experiment with one of the pieces with mirrored embellishment from the collection. Thoughts?

Kate Hudson In Johanna Ortiz – Fabletics Visit

Kate Hudson was on hand to celebrate the launch of the CFDA and Fabletics’ global campaign for Fashion Targets Breast Cancer, with an appearance at the Fabletics store in the Del Amo Fashion Center mall in Torrance, California on Tuesday (September 26), where the baby pink and bright blue capsule collection benefiting the FTBC initiative was unveiled.

Opting for blue and pink herself, it was her Johanna Ortiz Fall 2017 kimono robe which stole the spotlight.

I like how her look goes from staple to attention catching with this luxurious coat. The lush foliage against the moss-green backdrop makes for quite a dramatic impression.

Styled with ankle boots, the look was topped off with a dual colour hat which covered her newly shorn locks.

Kate Hudson is feeling blue in Michael Kors Collection

I have been enjoying seeing Kate Hudson’s recent fashion choices after shaving her head. The actress was in a blue mood recently when she stepped out in bold blue separates.

Kate donned a Michael Kors Collection Resort 2018 sapphire bodysuit and wool-serge pleated pants with a sapphire leather belt. The rich jewel tone was offset by the sleeveless bodysuit.

Pale cat eye sunglasses and a layered necklace gave more dimension to the blue ensemble.

A pair of platform shoes, that are just visible underneath the cuffed hems of the pleated trousers, added more height to the look for a leg-lengthening effect.

Kate Hudson In Marni, David Koma & Johanna Ortiz – Out In New York City

Kate Hudson’s new buzz cut for her role in Sia’s upcoming film ‘Sister’ has been getting attention, but her recent outings in New York City have captivated me for their mix of layering and striking colours.

On Friday (September 22) in Manhattan, the actress donned a beautiful Marni Pre-Fall 2017 red wool coat. Given the balmy temperatures in NYC of late, Kate wisely opted to drape the jacket over her shoulders. The artful styling also allowed the David Koma Resort 2018 cut out jumpsuit to be appreciated with its contrasting stitching and ab reveal.

There was plenty at play with the coat’s striped lining, the leopard Claire V. bag, Giuseppe Zanotti ‘Betty’ sandals and oversized drop earrings, but it didn’t feel overdone.

For her second ensemble, Kate went for statement stripes while out in Tribeca on Saturday (September 23). The Johanna Ortiz Resort 2018 outfit echoed yesterday’s styling with its long coat, fitted top and flared pants, but the Michael Kors Collection slate Bancroft large snakeskin satchel and translucent sunglasses brought it down for daytime.

Kate Hudson In Stella McCartney – 21st Annual Urbanworld Film Festival

You may have done a double-take upon seeing Kate Hudson at the 21st Annual Urbanworld Film Festival on Saturday (September 23) in New York City.

The blonde beauty was rocking a new buzz cut at the event, as she’s shaved her trademark locks for a role in the upcoming movie, ‘Sister,’ which is written and directed by Sia.

However, while her new ’do may be different, what has not changed is her penchant for simply sleek, yet high-impact silhouettes as seen in this Stella McCartney bespoke silver lamé asymmetric gown.

The liquid metal creation provided allure from the front, but it was the back that sealed the deal, as the backless design plunged seductively low.

Giuseppe Zanotti sandals and shimmering makeup rounded out the look.
