20th Century Fox Panel - Comic-Con International 2013

Anna Paquin, Jennifer Lawrence and Halle Berry posed together at the 20th Century Fox ‘X-Men: Days of Future Past’ panel during Comic-Con 2013 held at the San Diego Convention Center on Saturday in San Diego, California.

Anna Paquin: This was her second look at the event. On this occasion she finally opted for a colour other than black when she wore this McQ Alexander McQueen kaleidoscope-print sleeveless dress from the Pre-Fall 2013 collection, giving the look an edge with Bionda Castana suede-and-mesh booties.

Jennifer Lawrence: This was also Jennifer’s second look of the weekend. Her white Alexander McQueen Resort 2014 bandage dress was styled with a gorgeous pair of Nicholas Kirkwood light-blue lace pumps.

Halle Berry: The newlywed, who is due to pop any day now, opted for a feminine tri-colour chiffon frock, which she styled with Brian Atwood ‘Uma’ black leather sandals.

Halle Berry In Monique Lhuillier - 'The Call' Rio de Janeiro Premiere

Since announcing she was pregnant on Monday, Halle Berry seems to be busier than ever.

The beautiful actress continued to promote her latest movie, ‘The Call’, by attending the Rio de Janeiro premiere in Brazil yesterday evening.

I’m sure when Monique Lhuillier designed this black silk and lace gown for her Fall 2013 collection, she hadn’t figured it as a maternity gown; however, she will be delighted to see how amazing the 46-year-old actress works the look with her burgeoning baby bump.

Keeping the styling simple, with her signature pixie cut, gold hooped earrings and a matte nude lip colour, she’s already in the running for best maternity style for 2013.

Halle Berry In Roberto Cavalli - 'The Call' Buenos Aires Premiere

Following her announcement that she is pregnant with her second child, Halle Berry headed to Buenos Aires, Argentina to promote her latest movie, ‘The Call’.

We didn’t notice her baby bump at the Michael Kors event on Sunday, but it was on display for the world to see yesterday evening.

Opting for a Roberto Cavalli purple asymmetrical chiffon gown with silver embellishments around the neckline and waist, the actress cradled her bump as she posed for pictures.

I’m sure Halle has many more LBDs with plunging necklines in her yet, but on this occasion I’m glad she shared this joyous moment wearing a free-flowing gown.

Michael Kors Dinner

Michael Kors hosted a dinner in honour of Halle Berry as she joins the designer and the United Nations World Food Programme to help fight world hunger; the dinner was held at the Pool Room at the Four Seasons on Saturday in New York City.

Halle Berry: As the guest of honour, Halle stuck to her tried and tested LBD, plunging-neckline formula, wearing a paillette-strap sheath dress from the designer’s Fall 2013 collection. Black ‘Mikaela’ Spring 2013 sandals and the Michael Kors ‘Hunger Stop’ campaign watch, which I’m sure will be a best seller, completed her look.

Solange Knowles: The singer delights, wearing the turquoise-and-optic-white cloud-print skinny pants I have been crushing on since they took to the runway last September during the Spring 2013 collection. Her sleek look also featured a black tuxedo jacket and a white blouse, which she styled with black sandals, a clear Alice + Olivia ‘Lucite’ box clutch and a hot-pink lip colour which deepens my girl crush… if that is at all possible.

Doutzen Kroes: The model wore a navy-and-crimson cropped crewneck sweater and matching box-pleated skirt from the Spring 2013 collection, which we’ve seen on the red carpet once before courtesy of Cat Deeley. Like Cat, Doutzen kept her styling simple with a black clutch and black sandals.

Hilary Rhoda: Also opting for stripes from the Spring 2013 collection, the model styled her black-and-green striped top and pleated sequin skirt with gold Michael Kors ‘Mikaela’ sandals which matched her box clutch. I love how she opted for gold accessories when the others here had selected black.

Halle Berry In Reem Acra - The Tonight Show with Jay Leno

On Monday night Halle Berry made a guest appearance on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno to promote her new movie, ‘The Call’.

As much as I love Reem Acra, the first word that sprang to mine when I saw Halle in the designers’ Spring 2013 black dress with an illusion yoke was, ‘desperate’.

Before you quote my favourite line, “if you’ve got it, flaunt it” back to me, I would argue that this dress was fairly demure on the red carpet until Halle and her unsupported twins got hold of it.

And that’s my real issue with look, before that fact that this is yet another LBD.

This is something I would expect from a Kardashian.

Here are some quotes from her interview:

“I wanted to go to the Oscars looking like a Bond girl,” she said. “I felt like I was wearing a Ferrari.”

“I enjoy driving a Ferrari,” Leno said, suggestively. “Can you drive a stick shift?”

“I learned on a stick shift,” she coyly replied.

I mean.

Halle Berry in Helmut Lang - The Call LA Premiere

When Halle Berry took to the red carpet for the 2013 Oscars recently, many of you believed that she was pregnant.

I have a feeling that belief will be further ignited following her look at the LA premiere for ‘The Call’ yesterday evening.

The actress wore a typical black draped flutter-sleeve top and a Helmut Lang leather asymmetrical skirt with a chain-linked gold belt resting low on the waist.

Could this be trying to disguise a baby bump or is she trying to jazz up yet another all-black look?

Who knows; I just wish she would switch things up more often. While I get that she loves all-black looks and Helmut Lang as much as I love Elie Saab, I wish she would be a little bit more adventurous as her looks seem to merge into one.

Her Giuseppe Zanotti sandals, however, are to die for.
