Halle Berry Wore McQueen To The Joylux & Playground Event
Halle Berry (Joylux investor and founder of Respin) made her return to the red carpet for the Joylux & Playground ‘Bare It All’ event, held at the Santa Monica Proper Hotel and moderated by Tamsen Fadal. This marked her first public appearance since jetting back from being on the jury for Cannes Film Festival, and I have to say—this was a much-needed palette cleanser.

Wearing a McQueen turtleneck dress from the Resort 2025 collection, Halle gave us one of her strongest looks in recent memory. The rich burgundy base, drenched in a striking red and blue floral motif, had a hypnotic pull. Add in the asymmetrical drape cascading from the waist and you’ve got a look that balances moody elegance with modern edge.
Subtle but bold. And those gold peep-toe heels? A perfectly warm accent that doesn’t distract from the dress, but gives it a subtle lift.
This is Halle Berry on a really good day—and I hope she keeps riding this wave. May gave us some highs and some head-scratchers (yes, I’m still emotionally processing her Met Gala look), but June is off to a stylishly strong start.
