Louis Vuitton Monogram Celebration

Louis Vuitton Monogram Celebration

A host of stars joined Nicole Kidman on the red carpet for the Louis Vuitton Monogram celebration held at the Museum of Modern Art on Friday (November 7) in New York City.

Miranda Kerr: As you know, the model has been trying to shake off her known for style and present much edgier red carpet looks. While Miranda might be just wearing a sheer top and printed skirt from Louis Vuitton’s Spring 2015 collection, she’s not selling this look to me as she doesn’t strike me as an LV girl under the helm of Nicolas Ghesquière. The LV Fall 2013 or LV Spring 2013 collections are more suited to her ultra-femme style.

Jennifer Connelly: The actress is still going full steam ahead with the Louis Vuitton Spring 2014 collection, wearing a trompe l’oeil mini dress with lace tights and boots while carrying an LV minaudière. While I can’t deny how great she does look, I can’t help thinking how terribly bored her stylist must be at the moment to be working in such narrow confinement.

Charlotte Gainsbourg: Between Jennifer and Charlotte this LV Spring 2015 collection will be used up by Christmas, which might not be such a bad thing. Like a true Ghesquière disciple the French actress wore the runway look in its entirety, and while I have a been-there done-that feeling about this look, she’s working the hell out of it, therefore forcing me to buy what she’s selling.

Adèle Exarchopoulos and Chloe Sevigny In Louis Vuitton – Louis Vuitton ‘Series 1’ Shanghai & Tokyo Events

Adèle Exarchopoulos and Chloë Sevigny In Louis Vuitton - Louis Vuitton 'Series 1' Shanghai Events

Adèle Exarchopoulos and Chloë Sevigny were both on-hand for the Louis Vuitton ‘Series 1’ back-to-back events in Shanghai and Tokyo, celebrating designer Nicolas Ghesquière’s debut collection for the house, as well as the brand’s legacy. Outfitted in Louis Vuitton—natch—the girls made for a dynamic duo.

Shanghai

Adèle Exarchopoulos: The young French starlet was lovely in a Resort 2015 pink dress with a feminine flounced hem, paired with graphic, black-and-white pumps and a black Epi Petite-Malle clutch. The black accessories and the sporty zipper detailing on the dress keep this bubblegum look from venturing too sweet and twee. And, those shoes are everything here.

Chloë Sevigny: She also turned pastel-pink on its head, donning a Resort 2015 suit that had a retro-mannish appeal that I loved, what with with its buttons, exposed pockets and seaming. The galactic silver Vuitton bag and metallic pumps only added more quirk appeal, with the contrasting red belt and red lip the oh-so-right cherries on top.

Chloe Sevigny In Coach – 2014 Summer Party presented by Coach and Friends Of The Highline

Chloe Sevigny In Coach - 2014 Summer Party presented by Coach and Friends Of The Highline

Returning to the red carpet for the first time since the Met Gala, Chloe Sevigny attended the 2014 Summer Party presented by Coach and Friends Of The Highline held at The Highline on Tuesday (June 17) in New York City.

The actress wore a red and black houndstooth T-shirt dress from Coach’s Fall 2014 collection.

While the look doesn’t quite scream summer, it’s typically Chloe – effortless with a downtown it-girl feel.

Styled with a Coach ‘Rhyder’ cross-body bag, she completed her look with black Windsor Smith Chunk sandals.

Chloe Sevigny In Kenzo – 2014 Met Gala

Chloe Sevigny In Kenzo - 2014 Met Gala

Chloe Sevigny offered a pop of color on the red carpet at the 2014 Met Gala on Monday (May 5) in New York City.

The fashion risk-taker wore a striking Kenzo gown accented with a funky chartreuse clutch.

Her gown is both striking and fun, and is actually almost ‘safe’ when it comes to Chloe’s usual fashion playbook.

The bright colour and graphic lines are totally eye-catching, and I just so wish that her hair wasn’t so completely blah.

Chloe stayed within her comfort zone of very minimalist makeup, and the slight punch of orangey-red lipstick is a great finishing touch.

Museum Of Contemporary Art (MOCA) 35th Anniversary Gala

Museum Of Contemporary Art (MOCA) 35th Anniversary Gala

The Museum Of Contemporary Art (MOCA) celebrated its 35th Anniversary Gala presented by Louis Vuitton on Saturday (March 29) in Los Angeles, California.

Chloe Sevigny: The actress looked effortlessly cool wearing a Louis Vuitton Fall 2014 look consisting of a moleskin zipped cardigan dress accented with an embellished belt. Further accessories included a single gold earring (how very Janet Jackson of her), patent-leather booties and an LV pochette flip-flap clutch.

Dianna Agron: Many of you have said that you feel that the ‘Glee’ actress dresses too matronly; well this Louis Vuitton Fall 2014 embroidered asymmetrical knit dress styled with a black leather belt and LV leather boots should roll back the years on her style somewhat. Do you agree?

Haley Bennett: The actress wore a pink-and-beige colour-block zipper dress, which was let down by some strange styling inspired by the runway. While I do like the black-and-tan boots, they look awful with this dress. An LV monogram ‘Petite Malle’ clutch and wavy tresses rounded out her look.

Louis Vuitton Fall 2014 Front Row

Louis Vuitton Fall 2014 Front RowDesigner Nicholas Ghesquière’s debut collection for Louis Vuitton Fall 2014 hit the Paris Fashion Week catwalk on Wednesday (March 5) at the Cour Carree in France. The Vuitton-dressed front row sat with bated breath to glimpse the new LV under Ghesquière, where skins, suede and leather rendered in retro-mod shapes took to the runway.

Fan Bingbing: A sophisticated, dark leather trench with brass buttons, mixed with an LV logo handbag and a pair of oversized shades, were the makings of a stylishly cinematic entrance by the Asian star—if only she could locate another pair of heels, other than her go-to super-platforms. Long, straight locks and a matte red lip completed her dramatic ensemble.

Chloe Sevigny: The actress tied on a navy-blue, windowpane sweater coat, worn with black tights, booties and a tassel-adorned purse. Barely-there makeup only brought home her effortless-cool vibe.
