Remember a time when Naomi Campbell starred in a PETA ad proclaiming she’d rather go naked than wear fur?

Well that was 15 years ago, and whilst the supermodel still looks as stunning as ever her stance on fur has changed, because she happily wore a fur trimmed coat to the “Thurgood Marshall College Fund Fashion Show” in New York this weekend.

Under her coat Naomi wore a black fitted Dolce & Gabbana dress with square toed Alexander McQueen black heels.

The supermodels change of heart may have come about after being named as face Dennis Basso’s furs.

In the campaign the model wears a series of luxurious coats made from Russian sable.

These coats sell for up to £126,750 each, so imagine what her fee was.

Julianne Moore’s Bottega Veneta Resort 2010 strapless gown was a radiant as her flame coloured hair, as the walked the red carpet at the “Chloe” premiere in London last night.

It’s a very simple gown, but there is nothing wrong with that as Julianne’s beauty shines through.

The actress paired her stunning gown with the unmistakable Bottega Veneta Impero satin clutch.

Amanda Seyfried opted for a shorter dress, wearing a Stella McCartney Resort 2010 blue and silver beaded dress paired with black platform heels.

The dress is the shorter version of the gown Liv Tyler wore to Costume Institute Gala earlier this year.

Julianne opted for warmth wearing a Stella McCartney knit dress with floral embroidered panels which sit over the front and back of the dress.

She paired her dress with tights and ankle boots.

I love Amanda Seyfried’s cerulean blue Helmut Lang dress with the cowl neck and asymmetrical hem line.

Nude Brian Atwood slingback pumps completed the look.

It looks like she was going for a sexy yet sophisticated look for this promotional tour and she gets 10 out of 10 for both looks.

It’s not often I’m wowed by Mary J Blige, but this is very much a wow moment.

The singer looked stunning wearing a black Gucci Spring 2010 halter gown with jeweled leather harness neckline detail.

Truly outstanding.

Potato sack is the first thing that springs to mind when I see Eva Mendes wearing her modified slouchy grey Calvin Klein Spring 2010 dress.

I personally preferred the dress on the runway, but it’s just not a red carpet look.

And as if the look wasn’t bad enough she adds shoe-boots to the mix.

Iman wows again for the 3rd time in a row wearing a dusty rose Michael Kors sparkler.

I say it every time, but its amazing how ridiculously gorgeous this woman looks every time she hits the red carpet.

Emmy Rossum’s blew me away looking speculator wearing a draped golden Donna Karan gown which make her look like a Grecian goddess.

Evan Rachel Wood smoldered in a burgundy Gucci gown with antique gold fringe detail on on sleeve.

She looked poised and elegant with her hair swept back into an slick updo, pairing the gown with a gold python clutch with bamboo tassel detail to match her dress.

Gucci ’s Creative Director Frida Giannini received a “Design Star Honoree” award at this event.

Wearing a self-designed Gucci mini dress paired with a Gucci clutch and Gucci Fall 2009 heels, she posed with James Franco and Mary J Blige who both wore Gucci.

A very demure Gwen Stefani wore a LBD  with a rise and fall hem, paired with YSL black patent Trib Two’s and her L.A.M.B clutch.

I was trying to work out what was so different about Gwen’s look, then it hit me.

She’s not wearing her trademark red lipstick, instead she opted for a nude shade.

Although I like this look, she has totally thrown me by being so unpredictable.

Dita von Teese was typically beautiful sticking to her trademark red lip.

The Burlesque beauty wore a black vintage gown, with a head piece by Stephen Jones.

Camilla Belle looked stunning and elegant wearing a Marchesa Spring 2010 magnificent dress.

This kind of dress could’ve easily gone so wrong, but the embroidered white tulle cocktail dress with a feather hem and sleeves makes her look like an elegant swan rather than Big Bird.

Black strappy heels prevent this look from being too costumey.

This is second time in a row I haven’t been jumping up and down with exciting with what Demi Moore has worn on the red carpet.

On this occasion her asymmetrical Zac Posen Spring 2010 black dress looks better on the runway, to her halter neck version.

Angie Harmon pairs grey thigh-high Rodate Fall 2009 boots with a maroon wide neck Alexander McQueen Pre-Fall 2009 dress.

I like the pieces separately, but together it’s a bit of a disaster.

If this is Angie’s attempt at being edgy, I would say stick to being slightly predictable.

Gabrielle Union was my second favourite on this red carpet.

The beautiful actress wore an ivory plunging dress, with draped details on the hips.

Normally she faded into the background, but on this occasion she stands out.

Lisa Edelstein looked effortless chic wearing a black strapless Paule Ka gown adorned with a nude bow.

Debra Messing opted for a pile it high hair ‘do when she walked the red carpet wearing a black long sleeved dress with embellished cuffs.

For a Style event, I’m very much underwhelmed by most on this red carpet.

It’s been a while since we saw Anne Hathaway on the red carpet, and it’s always a delight to see her.

Last night she walked the red carpet at the “18th Annual Empire State Pride Agenda Fall Dinner” in New York City.

The actress wore a a mini Marc Jacobs Resort 2010 dress that’s so minuscule I won’t complain about the tights.

I love the flamenco ruffles on her skirt which are accented with multi-coloured sequins, as they add a hint of playfulness.

She accessorized with a black Roger Vivier Canasta Clutch and a 3 stone Kara Ross ring, and a winning smile you just can’t help but fall in love with.

“Dead Man Running” is a British gangster film produced by England footballers, Rio Ferdinand and Ashley Cole.

The film had it’s UK premiere last night, despite the huge controversy over the film being accused of glorifying gang violence.

Monet Mazur provided the much needed glamour on this red carpet.

She looked stunning wearing a sequined metallic full length Matthew Williamson Fall 2009 gown for a high-octane, luxurious look.

The gown was rich in colour with intricate embellished stone beads framing the dipped neckline.

Her bronzed clutch perfectly complemented the gown.

Jamelia, we all have our brand favourites and as an observer of red carpet fashion, I would be delighted to see you wearing something other than Dolce & Gabbana on the red carpet.

Yes you’ve had the odd Herve Leger dress here, and Topshop dress there, but since 2004 you have dressed in Dolce & Gabbana almost exclusively.

No one can ever accuse you of brand hoping, but a different silhouette would be a refreshing change.

Last night Sienna Miller attended the opening night party for “After Miss Julie” on Broadway at the Roundabout Theatre in New York City.

Yea…we didn’t have too long for the first celebrity to wear a dress from Balmain’s futuristic glam rock chick Spring 2010 collection on the red carpet.

Boo…to the totally boring black pumps Sienna Miller paired with it.

As much as I hate ankle boots, I think I would have preferred them to the very conservative pumps she paired with her sexy cut-out dress.

The sequined dress has 3/4 length sleeves with unfinished cuffs. It has intentionally distressed and torn areas all over with and even, unfinished hem that was screaming out for a fierce pair of heels.

This is a huge disappointment for me.

Luisa via Roma is ahead of all the other online retailers as they already have this dress available for pre-order on their website.

The sequin Destroy mini dress retails at £14,232.24 / €16,173 / $26,925.
