Ellie Goulding Wore Stella McCartney To The Investiture Ceremony

Ellie Goulding was made an MBE for her services to biodiversity and the climate, rather than for music, in recognition of her long-running environmental advocacy and campaigning work at an investiture ceremony held at Windsor Castle.

I feel like I was totally alone when Zendaya wore this Stella McCartney Fall 2026 white suit while promoting The Drama on The Jennifer Hudson Show last month.

Stella McCartney is a hard sell for the most part, but I distinctly remember that one of the issues many of you had with Zendaya’s look, aside from the slightly unusual faux fur peplum, was that she skipped the runway belt, a styling detail that has also been omitted here.

That said, Zendaya sold this look in a way Ellie simply doesn’t, to me. On Zendaya, the sharp proportions and clean lines felt editorial. But here, with the addition of the netted fascinator, instead of feeling sleek and contemporary, it lands somewhere closer to being dressed for a winter church service, or dare I say, mother-of-the-bride territory.
