Poppy Delevingne In Cushnie et Ochs – ‘Genius: Picasso’ Dinner and Conversation

Poppy Delevingne attended the ‘Genius: Picasso’ Dinner and Conversation at LACMA on Sunday (April 15).

The model-actress shone in a bright white Cushnie et Ochs Fall 2018 top and skirt.

The sleek shape shows off her height with the cut-out providing a surprise flash of stomach against the long  layers.

It’s too bad that some of the details have been lost in the photograph as the way the separates merge together to create the appearance of a gown in the runway version is most striking.

Mia Heart Hoop earrings from Five and Two Jewelry plus Aquazzura shoes enhanced the statuesque finish while the red lipstick punctuated the angelic colour palette.

Victoria Beckham In Victoria Beckham – Eva Longoria’s Star On The Hollywood Walk Of Fame Unveiling

Victoria Beckham joined Kerry Washington to celebrate Eva Longoria receiving a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame on Monday (April 16) in Beverly Hills, California.

The designer was clad in a Pre-Fall 2018 ensemble from her own label.

The white separates were emblematic of the brand’s sophisticated minimalism. They were fluid and relaxed enough so they wouldn’t come across as stiff, but there’s still an undeniable polish.

I was originally unsure of the skirt length, but the additional photos reveal it’s only her pose that makes the style appear longer than the lookbook version. It still hits a few inches above the ankle for an elegant turn.

The dash design across the hips and lavender shoes brought a touch of playfulness to the white colour palette.

Her beloved oversized sunglasses rounded out the ensemble.

Sarah Hyland In ADEAM – FYC Event For ABC’s ‘Modern Family’

Sarah Hyland was back on the red carpet at the FYC Event for ABC’s ‘Modern Family’ on Monday (April 16) in Hollywood, California.

The actress embraced soft-spoken femininity in an ADEAM Spring 2018 dress.

With its muted gray pattern and crisscrossing bodice, it had a quieter mood. The subdued tones of the accessories echo that, although, the ADEAM Art Frame bag definitely adds a weighty statement.

The frock’s shorter length suits her petite frame and the tones work together, but what lets it down is the shades don’t do much for her. This feels a bit washed out and makes me crave something with colour to enliven her complexion.

Her heavy bangs added to the elegant finish of the ensemble, but they couldn’t help the lackluster tones.

Casadei pumps completed her look.

Kerry Washington In Oscar de la Renta – Eva Longoria’s Star On The Hollywood Walk Of Fame Unveiling

Kerry Washington showed her support for Eva Longoria as she was honored with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame on Monday (April 16) in Beverly Hills, California.

The ‘Scandal’ actress opted for an Oscar de la Renta Pre-Fall 2018 dress which made a punchy statement without overshadowing the guest of honor.

The prim sentiment of the herringbone frock got a lively injection via the multicoloured design and delicate fringing.

Combined with the white heels and hoops, it had a polished, joyful finish that suited the occasion and the season.

Marc Jacobs sunglasses added to the optimistic mood and brought a little extra cool, while a Kate Spade New York ‘Make It Mine Camila’ clutch and Sara Weinstock earrings rounded out the look.

Queen Máxima of The Netherlands In Natan – Musical Premiere ‘The Color Purple’

Queen Maxima attended the musical premiere of ‘The Color Purple’ on Monday (April 16) in Amsterdam, Netherlands.

She was clad in an outfit from Natan, one of her favourite designers.

There is such a refined elegance to the style between the blush tones and the sophisticated silhouette.

The clean lines and mix of volume are supremely chic without the severity we see from tailored styles.

Cascading floral embellishment across the side and shoulder and the lighter fabric of the top add a touch of whimsy.

The length of the pants is the only thing I can see some taking issue with. The lookbook version would have been a hair too long had she worn them that way, but some might say her trousers are a touch too short.

I will side with the shorter length on this occasion as it preserves the delicate pink fabric and we see a hint of her sandals when she walks.

Thandie Newton In Osman – ‘Westworld’ Season 2 LA Premiere

It’s feels like forever since we last saw Thandie Newton on the red carpet, so I was delighted to see the British beauty at = the premiere of HBO’s ‘Westworld’ Season 2 on Monday (April 16) in Los Angeles, California.

With sharp tailoring and a sheeny brocade fabrication, this Osman Fall 2018 suit has magnetic quality.

I love how the peplum keeps the look modern and how Thandie was bold enough to add Rupert Sanderson metallic orange pumps and Vickisarge multi-coloured floral earrings to a look already bursting with colour.

J’Adore from head to toe.

This is why I miss Thandie on the red carpet. Simply breath-taking and not the least bit boring.

Andra Day In Victoria Hayes – Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony

Andra Day took to the red carpet prior to performing a medley with fellow artist Lauryn Hill, for the induction ceremony for Nina Simone into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in Cleveland, Ohio on Saturday (April 14).

The singer often leans toward past stylistic periods instead of current trends. But she appears to be making trends of her own.

There are strong similarities to this look and her look for the 2018 Grammy’s.

On both occasions she wore Victoria Hayes – this one hails from the designers Fall 2018 collection – plus she also opted for a beehive hairstyle channeling Patsy Stone — a 1990s fictional character from the television show, ‘Absolutely Fabulous.’

Her gown in a honey-bee colour combination of yellow and black was also impossible to ignore.

The structure of the gown was a flawless suiting silhouette, and consisted of sharp lapels and gorgeous embellished buttons to create timeless and empowered look.
