Model/actress Lily Cole walked the red carpet last night at the AFI Festival for the LA premiere of “The Imaginarium Of Doctor Parnassus”.

I’m not sure about this one.

As much as I love the Marchesa Fall 2009 blush pink dress with embroidered leaf details, the colour washes Lily out too much for my liking.

I feel like she’s cold, as there is no warmth here so I’m struggling to love this look.

I thought maybe it was the lighting, but after looking at various pictures that is not the issue.

What do you guys think?

Katherine Jenkins continues to promote her new album “Believe”.

During her promotion she dazzled in designer dresses, but also made high-street looks we can all afford look amazing.

After she was helicoptered into Swansea, the singer changed out of her Oscar de la Renta dress into a strapless sassy D&G dress to sign her CD for waiting fans.

The floral print dress was less structured on Katherine, as she opted out of the runway belt and paired her dress with tights and Trib Two’s.

The next day she headed to London Westfield shopping centre to greet fans at HMV.

Here she looked beautiful wearing a black Matthew Williamson jewel detailed dress from the Fall 2009 collection without the runway necklace, which I had assumed was part of the dress.

YLS sandals completed the look.

At HMViIn Manchester Katherine opted for a cute strapless black and white printed French Connection Danask sweetheart dress worn with Trib Two’s.

Attending the “Samsung Pink Ribbon Breast Awareness Day” in London, Katherine glowed in a bright pink French Connection Otto frill dress again worn with Trib Two’s.

My favourite looks here are the Matthew Williamson dress, and the pink French Connection dress. Regular readers will guess why.

What a difference a decent dress can makes to Mariah Carey, as she has a tendency to want to wear very tight gowns that can make her look very trashy.

On this occasion she wore a Zac Posen Resort 2008 black mermaid gown and I think this is the best we have ever seen her, despite the fact that the gown has already been worn on the red carpet earlier this year.

Hair and make-up are fabulous, and she doesn’t go overboard with the bling.

BDOTW contender for sure.

Paula Patton has great legs, so she shortened her Bottega Veneta corseted dress to show them off and this modification works really well for her.

I’m not as excited about her necklace, but I do love her Jimmy Choo ‘Revere’ strappy sandals.

I love Mary J Blige, but I’m not so crazy about her Emillio Pucci Resort 2010 gown as it’s doing nothing for her.

Olivia Wilde opted for a white RM by Roland Mouret Scirocco crepe pencil dress with an asymmetric neckline and cap sleeves.

Nude make-up and accessories complete this look.

Garcelle Beauvais looks incredible wearing a red hot asymmetrical dress with Christian Louboutin glittery peep-toes.

Mo’Nique and her husband Sidney Hicks walked the red carpet together as she glowed wearing a gold shimmering strapless dress.

Eva Mendes looked incredibly chic wearing a lavender Christian Dior Resort 2010 polka dot dress, worn with a cute white bow accented belt.

She could’ve been obvious and paired her dress with white accessories like the runway, but she instead wore dove grey heels and carried a silver clutch.

Jessica Alba wore a very simple Prada Resort 2010 dress, but I really love this look.

She’s making me eat my words about “boring black dresses” because she looks outstanding.

Bow accented heels and flawless make-up complete this stunning look and have me keeping this look in consideration for BDOTW.

Jordana Brewster was another favourite.  She was very much on the opposite end of the colour spectrum wearing a creme and ultramarine Carolina Herrera Pre-Fall 2009 dress.

I love the flutter detail around the arm openings, but the shoes are too clunky for this dress.

The runway shoes would have been too matchy matchy, but I would have preferred them to what Jordana is currently wearing.

*Sighs*

I hope Camilla Belle continues to never have a day off looking fabulous.  It would be a very sad day indeed.

Some of you may think what’s the big deal, she’s just wearing a Jason Wu blue dress.

I’d say look at her, she’s naturally glowing.  Her accessories complement her stunning pleated dress.  Not a single hair is out of place and her make-up is flawless.

Yes she should’ve ditched the fringed bag for this picture, but it’s a small detail when everything else looks so perfect.

Most celebrities grow out of their obsessions, but Diane Kruger is still loving her black bows.

This was evident from her bow accented blue blouse which she wore with navy shorts.

For most this would only be acceptable as an off-duty look, but Diane can stand shoulder to shoulder with Eva Mendes in her Dior dress and still look equally chic.

That’s why we all adore her.

“In Bloom By Reese Witherspoon” Launch, New York

I was starting to believe L’Wren Scott was only made for Nicole Kidman and Kyra Sedgwick.

Reese Witherspoon has worn a lot of pretty dresses promoting Avon, and this dress continues that trend.

Wearing black pumps the actress wore a pretty hot pink L’Wren Scott Spring 2010 black printed dress.

It’s the perfect ‘ladies who lunch’ frock.

Cointreau Party, Brazil

Even though Dita von Teese’s Malandrino Fall 2009 metallic dress was presented in silver, the princess of goth of course opted for the black version.

She totally picked the right colour as this gown looks amazing on her.

I love the way it drapes on the hips.

Bruce Hoeksema Cocktail Party, New York

Gwyneth Paltrow is the first celebrity to wear a dress from the recently presented RM by Roland Mouret Spring 2010 collection.

She paired her navy and gold tiger print belted dress with a paired of the Christian Louboutin for Roland Mouret heels as shown on the runway.

As always she looks fabulous to me.  I know a few of you are very much over her.

Jimmy Choo Project Pep Launch Party, London

Tamara Mellon wouldn’t be caught out without her own accessories.

For the “Jimmy Choo Project Pep Launch” at Selfridges she modeled a Jimmy Choo Char Clutch and Jimmy Choo Pep Loop sandals, whilst looking stunning wearing a red Valentino dress accented with a bow on one side.

1st Annual Guggenheim Art Awards, New York

Kylie Minogue wore a nude coloured Calvin Klein Spring 2010 dress which looked stunning against her warm complexion.

Loving the soft make-up and matching accessories.

Julianne Moore appears to be a big fan of this Calvin Klein collection, as she has worn many pieces recently.

This time she opts for a simplistic grey dress, paired with black tights, black heels and a black clutch.

Switches On The Harrods Christmas Lights, London

Dannii Minogue has an J’Aton Couture obsession because she wore two dress by the design duo last weekend, and last night she donned another one of their creations to switch on the Harrods lights.

She looks so cute. I love the ruffled detail on the shoulder.

Music Unites Fall Masquerade Gala, New York

White was the colour of the night as Kerry Washington graced this event with her flawless beauty wearing a very girly Marchesa satin strapless dress with a structured tulle overlay and embroidered empire waist.

Her sassy dress was paired with a Marchesa clutch with a crystral clasp, which complemented her black peep-toes with a diamanté embellishment.

Georgina Chapman also opted for a white Marchesa dress, but her was completely made out of feathers.

The designer also wore a ring from her recently launch Garrard collection.

Sam Taylor-Wood looks gorgeous in her Stella McCartney Resort 2010 keyhole sequin gown.

But much like Iman in Donna Karan dress, Kate Hudson OWNED this gown on the red carpet at the Costume Institute Gala earlier this year.

Sam completed her look with YSL criss-cross heels whilst carrying a black and gold trimmed clutch.

Kristin Scott Thomas often wears Lanvin on the red carpet and as always I love what she is wearing.

She wore a Lanvin one-shouldered black velvet dress with a belt tied  with tights and satin pumps.

Classy and elegant.

Meredith Ostrom braved the cold to wear a Collette Dinnigan Fall 2008 silver one-shouldered sparkling confection paired with silver strappy sandals.

For half a second I thought Ophelia Lovibond was Keira Knightley.

Does anyone else see the oh so slight resemblance?

Jay Jopling, his girlfriend and daughter Angelica Jopling walked the red carpet together.

Angelica is one lucky girl as she is wearing a Marc by Marc Jacobs Cherry blossom jacquard silk dress.

At her age I would have lucky to wear a Topshop dress.

I love the colour.

“Love Your W” is a fund raising event hosted by W magazine to support breast cancer research and awareness in Seoul.

As always the Asian ladies give us a wide variety of looks to marvel at, with a few re-runs.

Min Hyorin paired Louis Vuitton Fall 2009 Cancan heels with her shorten Chanel Resort 2010 dress.

I love the look, but I would have preferred her to wear the dress without that huge necklace.  It feels so heavy against the delicate white lace ruffles on her dress.

We have seen Choi Kang Hee’s Christian Dior Pre-Fall 2009 strapless red and black floral dress on Coco Rocha, Olivia Molina and Kim OK-Vin.

I love the dress, but I really wish she had given us something new.

Like Min Hyorin in Chanel above, Hong Soo Hyeon shorten her red Salvatore Ferragamo Fall 2009 dress.

I love the dress shortened as it’s suits her sparkling personality and makes the dress more youthful and fun.

Regular readers will know that I hate exposed bras, but there’s something about Jae Shi Ra’s look which makes her bra appear to be part of her purple Salvatore Ferragamo Fall 2009 satin dress.

Yoon Eun Hye’s bra exposure is as deliberate as Jae Shi Ra’s, but it really ruins her Louis Vuitton Fall 2009 look despite the bra being cleverly colour co-ordinated with her nude and black trimmed LV ensemble.

This look would have been one of my favourites if the lace blouse was lined, and the hem wasn’t so discombobulated.

Jeon Do Yeon opted for a black draping Louis Vuitton Fall 2009 black dress with sparkling layers to make the dress shimmer.

Halle Berry wore this same dress to party at the 12th International Shanghai Film Festival.

I much prefer Han Hye Jin’s electric blue Gucci Fall 2009 dress, to the runways aqua.

This silk dress is quite simple, but bold in colour and print.

Park Ji Yoon wears a Christian Dior Pre-Fall 2009 ensemble we have already seen on Dita von Teese.

Hwang Shin Hye’s Chanel Fall 2009 black and white look even includes black ankle boots with a white trim.
