Alessandra Mastronardi In Chanel Couture – 2017 Emmy Awards

Alessandra Mastronardi attended the 2017 Emmy Awards in Sunday (September 17) in Los Angeles.

The ‘Master of None’ actress wore a Chanel Spring 2017 Couture gown with a diamond cuff bracelet and gold pumps.

This dress is such a modern version of Chanel, and it’s quite fun. The neckline is completely unique, while the fabric is intrinsically Chanel, and the skirt is the perfect 80s-trend throwback. It’s definitely a completely unique approach to the Emmy’s fashion, and while I wasn’t sure at first, I genuinely like this look!

I do wish that the skirt has the same volume we saw on the runway, but kudos to Alessandra for bringing this unique point-of-fashion-view to the night.

Jaimie Alexander In Naeem Khan – 2017 Emmy Awards

Jaimie Alexander attended the 2017 Emmy Awards on Sunday (September 17) in Los Angeles.

The star wore a striking Naeem Khan Pre-Fall 2017 gown with Schutz ‘Fostoria’ heels and Eva Fehren diamond spear earrings.

Jaimie has such an innately edgy vibe, and I love this gown choice for her. We don’t often see print on the red carpet, and she is the perfect person to bring this totally cool gown to life on the carpet.

Her hair and makeup choices complete the super cool vibe of this look.

Jennifer Nettles In Pamella Roland – 2017 Emmy Awards

Taking an absolutely breathtaking turn down the red carpet, Jennifer Nettles duly stunned at the 2017 Emmy Awards on Sunday (September 17) in LA.

I was in awe of this hypnotizing Pamella Roland Resort 2018 body-con, embellished gown.

The lemony meringue hue held an enticement all its own.

And, the streamlined silhouette provided its own measure of mega allure that was only further enhanced by her sleek updo, complementary metallic Aldo sandals, and well-placed jewels.

What a night and day difference from her last look at the Variety and Women In Film’s 2017 Pre-Emmy Celebration.

Halston Sage In Zac Posen – 2017 Emmy Awards

Halston Sage attended the 2017 Emmy Awards on Sunday (September 17) in Los Angeles.

For the big night, the ‘The Orville’ actress chose to wear a Zac Posen Resort 2018 gown with subtle diamond Chopard jewels.

Would you just look at these details? I’m completely blown away by the lines, draping and fabric of this gown. It is absolute perfection and truly Zac Posen at his very best.

My only complaint here is that this very well may be the most gorgeous gown on the red carpet tonight, and I fear it won’t get the attention it deserves on such an unknown actress!

Julie Bowen In Alberta Ferretti Couture – 2017 Emmy Awards

Julie Bowen was intent on proving that black could be anything but boring at the 2017 Emmy Awards on Sunday night (September 17).

Her dress wasn’t boring, but I must say it stood out for the wrong reasons. I want to support the Alberta Ferretti Spring 2017 Couture gown, but I cannot get behind the detailing.

I enjoy the swirling volume of the ruffles, but it’s the placement that kills it for me. Additionally, the light fabric against the heavy velvet enhances the disjointed finish.

Had the ruffles been in the same fabric or placed across the body, it might have been more successful. Or, it would have worked better if the belt remained. I could even see a bustle being a better option. Thoughts?

Jane Krakowski In Badgley Mischka – 2017 Emmy Awards

Jane Krakowski was one of the lovely ladies who attended the 2017 Emmy Awards on Sunday (September 17), joining Viola Davis and Thandie Newton.

Adhering to the night’s theme of plunging necklines, the actress’s open neck contrasted the long sleeves and inky black palette of her Badgley Mischka Couture Resort 2018 gown.

The dress’s gold belt enhanced the va-va-voom silhouette while chunky gold jewellery echoed the statement detail.

A sleek, side-parted bob and a Jimmy Choo ‘Ciggy’ clutch completed the elegant ensemble.
