Natalie Portman In Christian Dior – Variety’s Power Of Women: Los Angeles

Natalie Portman In Christian Dior - Variety's Power Of Women Los Angeles

Natalie Portman was one of the honourees at Variety’s Power of Women event in Los Angeles on Friday (October 12), where she was recognized for her contributions to the Time’s Up movement.

If you thought that Venice Film Festival would see Natalie continue to explore other designers, you were wrong, as the actress was back to wearing Christian Dior for this occasion.

I was happy to see a more lively look from Natalie, as LBDs tend to be her go-to.

I love how the whimsical wildlife print that brings a fairy tale like quality to the look, which I was totally charmed by.

You may remember that Zoey Deutch wore this same dress by in July, but she opted for the runway belt. While I wasn’t crazy about the belt, I do love the volume of Zoey’s skirt.

Hilary Swank In Giambattista Valli - SiriusXM

SiriusXM’s Entertainment Weekly Radio hosted a Spotlight on Hilary Swank, who was promoting her new film, ‘What They Had’ on Friday (October 12) in New York City

She wore a gorgeous Giambattista Valli Fall 2018 dress with a floral print that skips over the expanse of this silk frock, executed in warm, romantic tones that feels perfect for the current season.

An elegantly bow tie adds to the desirability of this piece, along with the fuchsia Louboutins.

Thandie Newton In Carolina Herrera – Variety’s Power Of Women: Los Angeles

Thandie Newton In Carolina Herrera - Variety's Power Of Women Los Angeles

Thandie Newton has been busy promoting her new project, ‘Liyana’, but took time to celebrate Variety’s Power of Women event in Los Angeles on Friday (October 12).

We have seen a lot less colour from Thandie since the Emmys, but she’s still dotty about polka patterns.

This monochromatic piece from Carolina Herrera’s Spring 2019 collection was fun and feminine, combining a modest length with a contemporary construction.

I can’t see her shoes, but I’m imagining a playful pair of black and white sandals that were equally as punchy as this print.

Katy Perry In Galia Lahav Couture – QVC ‘FFANY Shoes Gala

Katy Perry In Galia Lahav - QVC 'FFANY Shoes Gala

When I saw Katy Perry at the 25th Annual QVC ‘FFANY Shoes on Sale’ Gala on Thursday (October 11) in New York City, the words, “where do I start?” spring to mind.

The Positives:
• This Galia Lahav ‘Shirley Temple’ jumpsuit from the latest ‘And God Created Woman’ Couture collection looked great on the runway.

The Negatives:

• This jumpsuit feels too girlish on Katy

• There is way too much pink going on. Even if there was a chance of this working, she overcooked the pink with the headband, gloves, nails and pumps.

• The hair. God lord the hair. Was this the cheapest looking wig she could find?

• The bodice. I mean, the under boobage is so supremely tacky, we need a new word for tacky. This was the major fault of the look, and at this point when she looked at herself in the mirror and panned to the chest, the next words to her stylist should’ve been, “what other options do we have?”

If you find anymore positives or negatives, please feel free to share in the comments below.

Sophia Bush In Prabal Gurung – National Geographic Photo Ark

Sophia Bush In Prabal Gurung - National Geographic Photo Ark

Sophia Bush was positively radiant at the National Geographic Photo Ark at Annenberg Space For Photography on Thursday (October 11) in Century City, California.

It’s been a long and busy week, but Sophia has pepped me right up in this red and pink Prabal Gurung Fall 2018 dress.

I love how she made this look her own without the runway trousers, and how she manages to enhance the charm of this already charming piece that features the label’s signature covered buttons trim running down the dress.

Pink eye makeup and red lips made up the beauty story, while a nude accessories – including an Edie Parker clutch – rounded out her look which would’ve had all eyes on her, and not on the photography.

Denise Gough In Erdem – ‘Colette’ London Film Festival Premiere

Denise Gough In Erdem - ‘Colette’ London Film Festival Premiere

Irish actress Denise Gough joined Keira Knightley on the red carpet for the London Film Festival premiere of ‘Colette’ on Thursday (October 11).

She was decked out in a finely tailored Erdem Spring 2019 suit, which of course featured the designers signature statement florals.

I do love this look, don’t get me wrong, but there is a strong Matador vibe I’m getting, which I feel might put some off this look.

Alinka jewels and a – perhaps ironic – double pop of red completed the look.

Poppy Delevingne In Oscar de la Renta – Princess Eugenie Of York’s Wedding

Poppy Delevingne In Oscar de la Renta - Princess Eugenie Of York's Wedding

Poppy Delevingne attended the wedding of Princess Eugenie of York and Mr. Jack Brooksbank this morning (October 12) in Windsor, England.

The model wore a laser cut high low dress styled with a matching coat and brooch from Oscar de la Renta’s Resort 2019 collection, with Christian Louboutin shoes and a hat from Victoria Grant.

Between the light-blue colour, coordination and hat, I was swooning over this ensemble.

I have a feeling some might believe that the cut-outs are a little too risqué for this formal event, but I love how it brings effervescent feeling to the look.

I adore this. It’s just a shame about the black shoes.

You may remember that Lady Gaga wore this same dress last month on the Ellen show.
