Maggie Q In Anthony Vaccarello – ‘Divergent’ LA Premiere

Maggie Q In Anthony Vaccarello - 'Divergent' LA Premiere

Maggie Q attended the premiere of her latest movie ‘Divergent’ held at the Regency Bruin Theatre on Tuesday (March 18) in Los Angeles, California alongside co-stars Kate Winslet and Shailene Woodley.

Taking a page from Jamie Alexander’s ‘How to Steal the Spotlight from the Lead Actress’ book, Maggie wore a show-stopping ‘Look, I’m not wearing any panties’ Anthony Vaccarello Spring 2014 frock.

Her one-sleeved LBD with cut-outs and stud detailing was styled with black Christian Louboutin ‘Pigalle’ pumps and a gold clutch.

Sexy, or was Maggie thirsty for attention?

I have to say I find this kinda sexy from the front and have nothing but admiration for the muscle tone in her legs from the side.

You may remember we saw a similar look worn by Anna Dello Russo.

Dresses like this comes off cheap and desperate.

Normally I would’ve hated this dress, but Maggie has an amazing body and she pulls it off. She looks sexy without being tacky.

If you’ve got it, work it. I would’ve hated it if the other side was like that too but it’s enough to be sexy and not trashy.

      ITA!

I wish celebs will stop wearing this collection because no matter who wears it and how great their bodies are, they will always look tacky wearing this dress for me

She can wear it and that’s all I will say.

I am troubled by the neckline: while the runway version makes the model look a bit “sporty”, I prefer it because is exposes the neck a bit better. Given the fact that Maggie is only wearing a few straps, she still managed to look really covered and I don’t care for it.

I think the dress would just need to be pulled down a bit in the front and that would balance it.

I want to hate this so much! But she’s WERQing it! That body! Damn!

      My thoughts exactly.

I don’t like it. Comes off as attention seeking.

    • Ahot March 19, 2014 at 19:09 #

Well she definitely got my attention. Badass lol

I like Maggie so I’m going to say yes. She has the perfect body for this type of dress (super thin and toned) and she toned her styling down.

*eyeroll* That last pic is just takes the birthday cake. So unnecessary. But a vast improvement over ADR, lol.

I like it. It’s hot. It’s fun to dress like this once in a while. While you’re young, you might as well!

Sorry, Maggie is gorgeous, but exposing this much of yourself on the red carpet will never not be tacky to me.

This reminds me so much of those 90s Versace looks. In someone else I would hate this, but Maggie Q can pull this off because she has badass athletic attitude that does not bring this to slutty ville.

Ah, my Maggie! She is giving me Nikita realness here, right! *.*
Still not over the fact that the show was cancelled

I can’t believe people still get offended over this kind of looks. It’s not like she’s showing her crotch, plus I have to agree, Maggie’s working it. Goes to show it’s not what you wear but how you wear it ;)

    • Cássia March 20, 2014 at 00:23 #

I totally agree with you, because people must wear what they want to wear! C’mon people, it’s 2014, not 1800!

  16. Manuel March 19, 2014 at 19:45 #

NIKITA! Ohh yeah Maggie Q rocks that dress

  17. Kim March 19, 2014 at 22:43 #

I don’t LOVE it but it could have gone so wrong; she’s styled it perfectly. Super sleek hair, minimal accessories, chic pumps and all that attitude.

  18. Emily March 20, 2014 at 00:29 #

I tried very hard but I just couldn’t bring myself to like it. She has the body but it’s the dress itself, it’s tacky as.

  19. Nat39 March 20, 2014 at 01:35 #

Horrendous, ‘in your face’, plain off-putting.

  20. Beth Rodrigues March 20, 2014 at 03:09 #

she looks hot and it def makes a statement..but how do you sit and watch a movie in it?

It’s desperate, especially when she’s not the star.
