Maggie Grace In Vintage – Global Green USA’s 11th Annual Pre-Oscar Party

Maggie Grace In Vintage - Global Green USA's 11th Annual Pre-Oscar Party

Maggie Grace joined Ashley Greene and Malin Akerman on the red carpet of Global Green USA’s 11th Annual Pre-Oscar party last night (February 26) held at Avalon in Hollywood, California.

Shunning designers in favour of an eco-friendly vintage choice, Maggie looked ravishing in a 1920s silk nightgown.

Not something I see on the red carpet very often but the commendable and glamorous turn echoed old-Hollywood glamour with the help of a beaded vintage clutch and a wonderful flapper-esque pendant necklace.

To finish, Maggie opted for a pair of Manolo Blahnik heels and glossy waves topped off the unique yet elegant look.

What do you think of Maggie’s vintage look?

The dress looks cheap to me, but I like her styling.

I don’t this look. The dress looks like a cheap nigth gown and this look is washing her out.

I absolutely love it. Sophisticated – and I love the idea of vintage! So lovely!

Yep, me too, although it seems we’re outvoted! It didn’t scream nightgown at me at all, just looked like a bias-cut silk dress of the kind they wore in the 30s. Big like.

I love the Chartreuse feel of the look. It’s elegant and sexy.

Sure I would have prefered if it was in a mustard color.

Was thinking that looks like a nightgown and wondering which idiot was responsible and then I look at your comments and realize the idiot is the person who chose to wear an actual nightgown!!!! The emperor has no clothes!

+1 Agree. BTW, I love shouting the “emperor has no clothes” and this was a perfect opportunity. ;-)

What is the point of wearing a nightgown on the rc?

alright i may be the only one but i kinda like it! she looks fresh, the pendant adds a nice glittery touch-the things id have changed if i were her are the clutch-it feels too matchy matchy- and the direction she tied the bow of her dress
