Sarah Hyland In Pamella Roland – 2014 SAG Awards

Sarah Hyland In Pamella Roland - 2014 SAG Awards

Sarah Hyland attended the 2014 SAG Awards, held at The Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles, California on Saturday (January 18).

The ‘Modern Family’ starlet and best ensemble nominee continued her pink streak from the 2014 Golden Globes, this time in a subtle, ballet-pink shade that I found far more striking in spite of its softness.

While I have a love-hate relationship with high-low gowns, I found myself quite charmed by this strapless Pamella Roland Spring 2014 design, especially the gathered bodice and the architectural, cape-like back. The dress also had every girl’s dream—pockets.

Adding some fun dazzle were embellished Jimmy Choo ‘Cardinal’ pumps and a Jimmy Choo silver ‘Carmen’ clutch, alongside sparkling Lorraine Schwartz jewels.

I’m so glad she didn’t wear a necklace, instead completing the look with unfussy, side-swept waves and natural, blush-toned makeup.

Sarah can be a red-carpet wild card when it comes to her style, but this is how to do a modern-day princess look. Do you agree?

Modern-day princess indeed! J’adore the side-swept hair and pop of red with the clutch.

Totally adorable. Sweet in light pink but with the modern construction it doesn’t feel sugary, and I actually prefer Sarah’s longer version. Her simple styling is on-point. The look is fresh, sweet, clean and up to date. I like it, well done.

Great styling (especially the shoes!) and I like the color, shape, and fabric of the dress, but I don’t like the gathered detail. It looks messy and just thrown together. Cleaner pleats would have been preferred, and maybe a belt below the bustline? Otherwise, it’s good–especially the hemline.

I do like it, but I prefer the runway edition–the length, the sheen of the fabric, and the gather looks off center on Sarah. Nonetheless, the does look very nice and age-appropriate.
