Kerry Washington In Lanvin – The Weinstein Company Academy Award Party

Kerry Washington In Lanvin - The Weinstein Company Academy Award Party

Prior to taking to the red carpet for the 2013 Oscars in her stunning Miu Miu gown, Kerry Washington attended The Weinstein Company Academy Award Party hosted by Chopard at Soho House in West Hollywood, California on Saturday.

The ‘Scandal’ actress wore a Lanvin Spring 2013 LBD.

Her look features one shoulder, a tied detail on the waist and a sexy slit that hits the thigh.

As you know, I’m slightly obsessed with Kerry’s style. This classic LBD with a twist hits a lot of high notes: it’s sexy, edgy and fashion forward.

A gold Kotur clutch and black satin Casadei ‘Blade’ pumps accessorized her look.

Flawless. The dress looks much better on Kerry than on the model.

Don’t like the slit, and the whole thing feels a bit sloppy in construction.

I am someone who wears more black than colour, so I appreciate this twist on the LBD! She looks great

I’m obsessed with Kerry’s style too! She keeps it interesting and fresh. I also love the gowns and business chic ensembles she wears as Olivia Pope on Scandal, too.

I don’t like this dress looks like too many ideas in one dress.

I love this. I much prefer this to Jennifer’s Lanvin number.

I think the edgier fashion-forward construction of the dress is executed very well, wish she´d worn cool sandals with it.

“slightly obsessed” is an understament LOL! Though I do understand it. I don’t always agree with some of your obsessdions(Diane Kruger or Emma Stone)but KW’s style is just UNBELIEVABLE! She is fun to watch and never a bore but always elegant at the same time! She is one of the best in my opinion :-)

I don’t have an obsession with Diane Kruger or Emma Stone.

I do with Cate Blanchett, Blake Lively and Kerry Washington.

Liking and obsessing are two different things for me.

i like this look much better that jennifer lawrence’s on the same occasion. i like her so much. i just wish she had done better at the oscars.

I’m slightly confused. The dress on the model looks a lot weirder which makes it better imo. Somehow it falls flat on Kerry. Like it’s a different material.
