Showing she’s not afraid to flaunt her pins amid a packed room of long Oscars gowns, Kate Bosworth joined the A-list who attended the 2013 Vanity Fair Party, hosted on Sunday night at the Sunset Tower in West Hollywood.
Like her fellow fashion risk-taker Diane Kruger, she wore a Giambattista Valli Spring 2013 Couture creation.
Up close, the medieval rose design and silver tinsel embroidery was intricate and enchanting. It also lent a nymph-like quality to this flora-filled design.
While the frock fell a bit longer on Kate than the model, the actress still cut it pretty short in the precious, baby-doll silhouette.
Silver Casadei heels and a bright fuchsia-pink lip colour rounded out this look. The braided updo trend, which we saw so much of earlier this awards season, also made a comeback here.
Some of you did not like Diane’s Giambattista Valli dress. Does Kate’s mini win you over?

I thought this was Valentino at first glance!
She looks gorgeous, as always.
This look is so beautiful and perfect! I love it! And the shorter length is a refreshing change.
she looks so adorable! literally like a doll
+1
love it. she is totally gorgeous.
Ranks very high on my best dressed after parties list. I love this stunning look.
she looks stunning, but I can’t help but notice how sickly thin she has become..
+1 this is bordering oon anorectic
+2
my thoughts precisely!!!
oh man! i’m blown away! oh hell! i simply love this! the styling is perfect and that dress itself is divine! love her make up and hair. i mean everything! so now for me naomie harris has competition on this RC!
Simple, feminine and fun. I thought it was quite appropriate for an after party considering she wasn’t nominated.
nice dress, but can someone please give this girl a burger!!!
+1 nice indeed, and I’ll spring for the fries. Who’s buying the shake?
Cute and feminine, as always.
One word : perfection!
She cant do wrong!
This is perfect.
I often get the impression from Kate like she tries way too hard to appear casual which is something I dislike in principle. But it has less to do with the clothes (this dress is quite pretty) and more with her overall appearance and facial expressions. In other words I acknowledge I’m too biased to comment.
I don’t like her hairstyle but other than that she looks cute.
With that hairstyle and the long sleeves she could have easily looked matronly, but the shorter length gives it a youthful feel.
Classic look for her. The fabric of the dress is gorgeous. She works the braided updo well, though it is not my favorite look for anyone. Pretty makeup.
I usually think she’s overrated but here she looks super pretty and feminine. I love it.
Her jewelry venture must be doing well, because I cannot understand how she affords all the looks she wears (including this) since it seems like she’s not acting (although she prob is).
Wish it were a gown, but I like it much better than Diane’s. It just needs to be a little longer at least. The embellishments are beautiful and her styling is spot on.
She’s thinner and thinner every time I see her :/
Love love love, everything about this look is perfect. The lip colour is divine, I must have it!
