Michelle Obama In Jason Wu – President Obama Delivers State Of The Union Address

Michelle Obama In Jason Wu - President Obama Delivers State Of The Union Address

President Barack Obama gave the annual State of the Union address during a joint session of Congress on Capitol Hill in Washington, D.C. on Tuesday.

Michelle Obama was in attendance looking lovely as always wearing a Jason Wu Pre-Fall 2013 dress.

Originally presented as a leather halter quilted tweed dress, Jason Wu made a FLOTUS friendly version of look.

I love how it retains the edge with the leather detailing plus the A-line silhouette is so flattering on her gorgeous figure.

Sporting her ‘second term bangs‘, Michelle styled the look with a gold flower brooch and I’m guessing black Jimmy Choo or Manolo Blahnik kitten heels.

No wonder Jason Wu continues to be her go-to designer.

Pretty. A bit too cocktail for the occasion IMO.

The hair looks better on this occasion. It is really cute. I like how it frames her face. Love the dress. Looking forward to more fashion moments from her.

Love the dress, on the fence about the hair. I like her bangs but the hair looks too puffy on top.

Her love affair with brooches continues to please me.

I love the modified look for the First Lady and the richness of the red. You know I could actually see Michelle Obama wearing the original look on the model, if it were floor length, as a gown. She’s worn gowns with similar silhouettes before.

Michelle Obama is probably my fashion icon but I really DO NOT LIKE her bangs AT ALL! I tried but…no! She looks great otherwise.

Much prefer the modified to the original. Great color combo. The brooch looks like Alexis Bittar to me.

Elegnat but with a bit of sass and edge. I hope she gets a second term Vogue cover.

the dress is perfection on her, and her version actually looks alot nicer than the look book version. the hair though looks “wiggy”

I think it would have been better with a belt. She seems to love belts. I wonder why she chose not to wear one this time.

  15. Jess2 February 16, 2013 at 05:03 #

She looks fantastic! While I do love the lookbook version, I love the modified version just as much.
