Laura Bailey In Roksanda Illinic – 2013 BAFTA Awards

2013BAFTA_LauraBailey

Laura Bailey joined Marion Cotillard and Andrea Riseborough in their attempts to lift the gloomy weather by donning a zesty colour on the red carpet at the Royal Opera House in London on Sunday evening for the 2013 BAFTA Awards.

Braving the rain and the cold, she wore a bright red Roksanda Ilincic Resort 2013 sleeveless gown.

The gown may not have the pizzazz of Marion or Andrea’s gown, but for those who love the minimalist approach to red carpet dressing this look is sure to delight.

A Christopher Kane embellished clutch and emerald earrings completed her look.

So many looks have fallen flat today and will find themselves forgotten: Juno Temple, Gemma Arterton, Alicia Vikander, Sally Field…and others that I may have, ironically, forgotten

I love it in all its simplicity. Sometimes the true beauty is in the restrainment, like in this case.
