Isla Fisher attended the 2013 Golden Globe Awards, hosted at California’s Beverly Hilton Hotel, in shimmering style.
Along with other stars the likes of Kerry Washington and Connie Britton, Isla also brought the sparkle and shine to the red carpet in her Reem Acra delight.
But, this time, the glimmer was of a rather ethereal and subdued quality. Her nude gown enchanted with its flurry of silver embellishment that quietly faded into the illusion netting of the top.
A black handbag broke the soft, magical touch.
All in all, the glamour was there, and Isa’s fiery red locks, flipped to one side and styled into a seductive wave, and her crimson lip only added to the effect.

I love this a lot!
Ignoring the clutch, this was one of the best of the night for me.

It is a very beautiful gown. I wish she had worn her hair behind her shoulders as it sadly hides the illusion effect on the bodice.
Needed a better clutch and an updo. I love the sheer sleeves but the neckline dips a little too low.
I kept looking at this gown last night an thought, “All of the elements are there so why don’t I like it, exactly?” and now that I know who the designer is, I get it. That’s always my reaction to Reem Acra. I feel like she does the same things that one can find in Elie Saab, Marchesa, or Valentino, but no where near as well.
Pretty, sparkly, forgettable.
