Following the season 2 premiere of ‘Girls’ on Wednesday night, Allison Williams was out promoting the hit TV series again with a guest appearance on the ‘Late Show With David Letterman’ in New York City.
Wearing yet another Oscar de la Renta Pre-Fall 2013 look, the actress selected a navy tweed dress with a pleated chiffon panel in the skirt.
The unique detailing on the skirt prevents the look from feeling too matronly.
Braving the cold sans coat and tights, she completed the look with Oscar de la Renta ‘Rosa’ d’Orsay pumps and glossy, wavy, chocolaty tresses.

Beautiful dress for her a late night appearance, but her hair is what I am obsessed with! Its perfect!
I feel like to she’s ready to breakout, just needs a higher profile to pull in the better outfits.
This screams Duchess of Cambridge to me. I’ll leave it at that.
I agree with that! But I think this look is beautiful! Classy without be boring!
Yep. Sister from another mister 🙂
She looks nice but this look falls a but flat.
Matronly is the last word that springs to my mind….I love her outfit. Very chic…and her hair and smile are truly her best accessories
A bit on the boring side.
She is beautiful. There’s nothing outstanding in this look but she doesn’t need to do anything but to smile to illuminate any outfit she wears.
Ditto.
It’s a nice look for TV appearance, would’ve liked it more in a more vibrant colour but the detailing does save the dress, and the flirty pumps and her gorgeous tresses liven up the look, she looks radiant.
Well said!
ITA.
Another perfectly cute and chic look from Allison! I love her hair. She kind of reminds me of Lyndsy Fonseca (from Nikita)
I’m not sure how old this woman is but the styling is aging. This look says “preachers wife” and drab, not exactly fun, stylish and young.
Adorable. She is great.
