Kristen Stewart Wore Chanel To The 2026 ‘Nouvelles Vagues’ International Biarritz Film Festival

Kristen Stewart certainly does love a European film festival. The last time we saw the actress was in Cannes, and last night she made an appearance at the opening ceremony of the 2026 Nouvelles Vagues International Biarritz Film Festival in France.

The actress wore a Chanel Resort 2027 black, red and light-yellow knit top with matching biker shorts. As always, she made the look entirely her own. The tonal black belt works much better than the runway’s white version, and stretching the neckline into an off-the-shoulder silhouette gives the look a more undone, effortless feel that is much more in keeping with her personal style.

I also love how the chunky loafers add a touch of androgyny, while the sunglasses give the look an effortless, slightly rebellious attitude that feels unmistakably Kristen.

Kristen and Chanel have always worked best when she is allowed to be her authentic self, rather than being shoehorned into looks that do not align with her style personality. This sporty knit set could easily have felt overly preppy, but on Kristen it feels relaxed and completely convincing, as she has once again made the look entirely her own.
