Gucci Celebrates ‘Made In Italy’ Campaign With Jannik Sinner

Gucci hosted a dinner at Claridge’s Restaurant in London to celebrate the launch of the house’s Made in Italy campaign with global brand ambassador Jannik Sinner.

Ahead of his sixth consecutive appearance at Wimbledon, the World No. 1 tennis player was joined by Gucci-clad guests including Fabien Frankel, Naomi Ackie and Salma Hayek, who, unsurprisingly, delivered the evening’s boldest fashion moment.

Leopard print is not something I immediately associate with Salma, which made this Gucci silk maxi dress feel even more arresting. The fluid silhouette, relaxed proportions and sweeping shape gave the look a glamorous, jet-set feel that recalled decadent 1970s evening dressing.

Styled with a Gucci Horsebit bag from the Fall 2026 collection, I was briefly tempted to question the addition of the Boucheron jewels, but that argument quickly falls apart when the starting point is a head-to-toe leopard-print gown. Once you commit to a look like this, being subtle isn’t really the objective.

It is glamorous, excessive and entirely over-the-top, but that is kind of the reason why I love it.
