Naomi Watts attended the 2013 Palm Springs International Film Festival Awards Gala, which was held at the Palm Springs Convention Center in California on Saturday evening.
‘The Impossible’ actress collected the ‘Desert Palm Achievement’ award wearing another electric-blue dress from Roland Mouret.
Her draped ‘Avea’ gown, which matched her bright blue eyes, featured a thin belt to cinch in her waist.
Keeping the blue theme going, she styled her look with satin Louis Vuitton ‘Florida’ sandals with a Plexiglas heel from the Resort 2013 collection, which are a favourite of British star Pixie Geldof.
Blown-out golden locks and gold Cartier jewels completed her look.

I love this dress: the colour, the draping, the fabric. I also like the fact that it is not obvious Roland Mouret- Unfortunately Carol Volderman has caused me to have a bad reaction to any of his more structured looks.

The colour is divine on her, her hair and makeup are so fresh and pretty, the gold accessories work beautifully, the fit seems slightly loose and is hanging a tad, wish she’d opted for a better more delicate sandal.
I agree, the sandals are too heavy for that gown. But she looks gorgeous from the ankles up.

I’m blown away. The royal blue is so dreamy and the fabric so luxe that I can pretty much look past the iffy shoe choice (they’re gorgeous shoes on their own, but I can’t decide if blue on blue looks good, especially with similar textures). Amazing earrings.
